I thought you were training drivers to be better. Dudes in the left lane no lights and going 10 miles under the speed limit with your label all over it. Give him a f for the day

Expect to have to use aggressive calling and attitude to be able to schedule the behind the wheel lessons. They are not adequately staffed to provide the lessons as part of the package in a timely manner. Like a tickemaster scramble, they don't publish when the availability is released on the website. I logged in multiple times a day for many weeks -- but once the lessons were released -- they were all filled up. Calling will sometimes provide a random day of availability, a month or two later, and in a town outside of the metro (rather than the original offer of them coming to your house). So each of your 3 behind the wheel lessons will be like getting taylor swift tickets. But they got your money... and you've invested the test/training time at the beginning. And they seem unmotivated to get the lessons in before your driver turns of age. And at that point, they have all the leverage, so plan to log into their website 100 times... and make a few dozen phone calls trying to find an available slot. Run.

Sadly today was my daughters first day of class. She had transportation all set up to and from. Something completely out of her control made her 4 minutes late. As soon as she walked in she was loudly and rudely shouted at that she was late in front of a full room of her peers.I drove her as safely and quickly as I could to class. Something I hope will be taught that you don’t need to rush and get into an accident due to a timing issue.I’m not sure if embarrassing or belittling them serves a purpose in educating them on safe driving but it sure didn’t help gaining any respect.

For the past 2 years, I visited Safeway's website to sign up my daughter for behind the wheel. Their home page would boldly state they were not taking students due to Covid, or no new students due to heavy cancelations. This has caused me a HUGE inconvenience. I called today and basically was blamed for not calling them and was told it was too late for my daughter to take behind the wheel unless I pay again, which I was not aware that I had paid because it was through her school. This all could have been avoided if the website made this clear.

ha, funny story. I'm reading these terrible reviews and telling my wife about how defensive the company gets instead of just owning the mistake. She then tells me about how she passed one of their cars on the road, they proceeded to flash their lights at her and then an older man flicked her off. Sounds like the instructor here needs to take a chill pill or retire.

My son had a great teacher for the classroom portion of it as well as a great behind-the-wheel instructor.

I was driving on 94 East heading from St. Paul to Woodbury, when I observed a Safeway vehicle #44 driving 65mph in a 55mph zone. I proceeded to follow when I noticed flapping arms in the back seat. I sped up to see what was going on and I noticed the Safeway instructor was plucking her chin hairs using the visor mirror. There was also a child in the backseat. I tried to maintain the speed, but that would mean I would be speeding. NOT GOOD for being a driving school.

Had one of their instructors almost hit me in the parking lot of Experience Fitness in Woodbury because they pulled through their spot and drove through the handicapped stripes.

I am very impressed with the teacher and the curriculum covered in the classroom. Safeway does a great job of teaching kids to drive safely. Highly recommended!
