Heads up, if it’s within an hour of closing, and you don’t have an appointment, don’t try to go and do a walk in.
I’m not sure why they don’t have people at the front turning customers away when they are at capacity or at least turn off the kiosks.
Went in an hour before close to upgrade my phone and was advised, after 5 mins of hanging around, that they wouldn’t be able to help me and to schedule a time (2 days in the future was next avl) to come back.
Just posting this as a warning to others to not waste their time coming in an hour before closing if you’re doing a walk-in.
It’s time to switch to AT&T!

I had a not so good experience at a nearby Verizon store, so I chose the Woodbury location to take advantage of one of the new promotions. Walked right in with no wait, Picked up the new phones, ready to go with easy at home transfer and then dropped off the old ones with no issues once we took everything off them we needed. Adam even took a look at our account to make sure everything was best fit for us. Great service.

Every rep there I’ve encountered has been good, knowledgeable and kind. Saving us money. My past review of being displeased is about the wonky systems and loopholes Verizon makes their reps and customers jump through in order to get the best value.
The people there are outstanding, but I need to block out a whole day if upgrading phones. My case might be isolated, but no fault of the store reps and unfair to leave a bad review if my displeasure is more about corporate systems.
Still stand by the poor que system, should be able to run and get a coffee and come back and not get deleted. It was the busy time so I understand.
“Not great. Got 4 new products to be opened and transferred after Christmas. 2 of 4 lines didn’t work after purchase. People and sales reps are good and kind, but their que system is poor.”

Poor customer service. Verizon lately, seems like they’re on a mission to make things as difficult as possible for their customers. In a time when customer service is so important, Verizon should be paying better attention to it.

I stopped in at the Woodbury location after having a not so great experience at my local store about a week prior. I had 3 phone numbers to port over from our previous carrier. The transition was very smooth, Elias was super helpful & knowledgeable & we got everything taken care of in that visit and he even helped with a billing issue.
Definitely worth the extra 30 min drive for this level of customer service. Thanks Jordan & Elias!

If I could give a zero star rating I would.My experience after being a Verizon customer for as long as I have had a cell phone has been awful. I moved and needed to change cell providers trying to to cancel my service took hours on the phone, three trips to different Verizon stores, over 4 hours waiting at those stores. I kept getting the run around, being sent to different places, customer service was awful, no one knew anything. Then after finally being told it was cancelled which took them two seconds to do, months later began receiving bills for hundreds of dollars, I called to find out why, because I didn't know the pin which my deceased husband set up 20 plus years ago they couldn't tell me what the charges were for and you guessed it I need to go to a store and they could tell me. I asked to speak to a Supervisor so the person said they would get me to billing and they could help me, put me on hold. The same rep came on the line pretending to be in billing and asked me for my pin and said without it he couldn't help. I told him I needed to speak to a Supervisor, put me on hold again and transfered me to another rep. This rep repeatedly said the same thing over and over. I said are you a supervisor and she said no. I asked to speak with one and she refused. I am beyond frustrated and angry. Come on Verizon if you can send me a bill and take my money, you can access my account.

Horrible customer service. This store has def gone downhill over the years. If I could give zero stars, that would have happened. Waited 20 minutes past my scheduled appt time for the very unenthusiastic guy to tell me they don't actually handle phone issues and I have to go to Best Buy to have geek squad do diagnostics. WHAT? Secondly, he couldn't answer why I was being charged for a couple of services on my plan that WERE free with my plan when the previous rep updated my acct at the time I bought my phone. Lastly, I asked if he could review if I am in the best plan for our usage. His response was "you have a credit on your phone, so you are stuck in the plan you are in until your phone is paid off". That was when I responded by walking out the door. I realize they don't care at all how unhelpful they were or they provide better service from the get go. For what I pay monthly, I would have expected better
Everything about this visit was unhelpful and it's a kick in the face when I log into my acct and it thanks me for being a loyal customer for over 25 years.

We had a great experience in store with Easton, who helped set us up on a new plan! He printed out multiple options for us to review on how to set up our new plan, and got us a deal that we felt really good about. Easton was also super personable and made this an easy experience for us, and really took his time to make sure all was right.

The customer service I received while acquiring new phone lines and phones was exceptional. That’s where it ends. Old phones and old lines were not taken off my bill. Has created a nightmare with billing. .

Horrible service. I was ignored for 15 minutes after walking into the store looking for help with my phone. After receiving some service, I was constantly interrupted because the employee kept answering other customers while I was talking to him. The next time I had to come in a few days later, I was asked why I was there and they told me I had to sit and wait for no reason. I sat for at least 25 minutes just being ignored. Then the same employee comes back to me and asks me the same question of why I’m there. These employees don’t gaf.

My fiance and I went to this store yesterday to get the new iPhone 16. The worker that was helping us and it seemed as if he knew nothing about the different iPhone models. When we asked about the trade-in promo, he just said that it didn't apply to us and that we should read the fine print. Once we got to the point where we just wanted to get pur new phones and get out of there, we asked the worker how much the price of the phone would be on top of our monthly plan amount and he told us $400 and some odd dollars. So we asked how does that work when the phones are $1199 and $999? He just told us that is the price it comes out to. So we decided to buy the phones outright because it didn't make sense to pay $400 dollars a month for 36 months, which would be $14,000 at the end of 36 months. We spent about $2,500 in the store to an employee who didn't know what he was talking about and also talked us out of a more expensive phone that we wanted because he told us a monthly price that WAS NOT RVEN CLOSE TO BEING ACCURATE! Since then I have called another store to see if I can return the phone and get rhe one I wanted... but no stores have the phones any more. I had to return the phone to a different store and was forced to pay the restocking fee. I would highly recommend avoiding this store if you are wanting professional service and accurate information.

Recommend finding another Verizon store, besides the Woodbury, MN Hudson Road store. In the past, the Reps were helpful & respectful, but they were absolutely rude this last time there. Later, an elderly neighbor shared how that store canceled their service when they asked what they need to do to switch. They went 4 days without their phone number because the manager did not give them the numbers needed to transfer service.
The manager tried to do that today when my partner wanted to be done with Verizon service. I am glad I walked out at that point, as the same thing that happened to my neighbor would have happened to us. Comcast walked us through the process without problems and we are saving over $200 a month with Comcast. Verizon increased our bill by $100 over this past year & rather than help us figure out a way to keep our service, he jumped at my husband who was ready to switch carriers and said he would cancel our service
I did call Verizon after leaving the store and spoke with a helpful Verizon rep who looked into our concerns. After the extremely poor in store customer service, we checked out Comcast as we already have Comcast services. With the amount we are saving a month we decided to switch. Our neighbor went to Comcast as well. Never going back to Verizon again after this final store experience.
