At the Woodbury location the customer service was good. The service I received was a full face wax, which sounds painful but it was not as bad as it sounds. The service was quick with minimal discomfort. The only thing that was a bummer is the construction and detours on 494 and 94 near Woodbury. You may want to leave earlier for your appointment.

They are great at ripping the hair from my nose. I can breathe so much better and no tickles on my nose. It doesn't hurt. Very reasonable price for the service. Always tip your technician!

Very poor management here. I had an appt at 10am. Got there at 9:45 only to get a text my appt was canceled. Now I need to give 24 hours notice if I were to cancel or I get charged. I was offered nothing for the inconvenience. I would go elsewhere if I were you.

I've been coming year for a few years, and my experience has always been good. If you're more particular about your facial waxing, you'll probably have to give all the cerologists a try to find the person that suits you best as they all have their unique style/method, but in my experience, all the girls do follow a standard procedure. I've also been happy with their professionalism.
Booking is easy and can be done through the Waxing the City app. I book last minute and never have issues getting in. They've also been flexible with me changing my appointment last minute.

I had an absolute amazing time getting my brows done by Rachel M. I have Italian brows that curl and grow like crazy, and it’s been a month since I last got them waxed; she absolutely slayed them. I am definitely going to be returning. She is FANTASTIC.

Very personable, nice, and sweet staff! They really listen to you and do their best to give you what you want! They're also very communicative if anything comes up. Clean place-- lobby and wax rooms included! I LOVE coming here!

After needing to get it in last minute, as my regular waxer was sick, I took a chance on this place and I'm glad I did. Melaida was my cerologist and she was great. I received a brazilian wax and it was as close to as painless as possible, I almost fell asleep. I would definitely recommend Melaida for your any of your waxing services.

The salon is clean, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. In the past at other salons, waxing has felt more like a task. However, my experience at Waxing The City felt like a spa appointment. I look forward to my next wax!
