Dollar General Zimmerman offers everyday essentials at affordable prices from right around the corner. The store provides everyday low prices on frequently-needed items including food, snacks, health and beauty aids, cleaning supplies, basic apparel, housewares, seasonal items, and paper products. It sells tobacco and is a FedEx drop location. Customers can save more with the myDG program. The store has seen significant changes. Previously, it had declined with piles of unstocked items, little organization, and long checkout lines, often with only one register running. It seemed understaffed and overwhelmed. Recently, new management has totally turned the store around. There are no more boxes in the aisles, no messy shelves, and no long waits in line. The staff is very courteous and friendly, and the shelving and displays are well organized. The difference is credited to good leadership. For some, it is an always enjoyable experience with very friendly staff.
This location was convenient for me to stop at but I don’t know if they are still open during the road construction - and if they are I’d have no clue how to reach it

What a difference new management makes. This store is totally turned around. No more getting around boxes in the aisles, no more messy shelves and no long waits in line.
