I have shopped this JC Penny since I was a teenager, I am 50 now. I have always had a great experience there except for this last time. I went with no makeup and work out clothes. My shoes were worn and I looked like I had been running and sweating lol… I am a professional business woman on the coast but this day I was treated like I was a dirty old homeless person. I was treated differently because I was dressed shabby. The perfume and makeup area is where I went. Note to your salespeople, you don’t treat someone differently because of what they are wearing. Thanks! Oh, I went the next day after work so I was dressed up and treated much better.

I took my grandchild who has anxiety and was stressed out trying on clothes. While trying to find her size Ms Torie came over and helped find her size for her undergarments as well as help her find the perfect shoes that go with her dress. She helped calm her down and made her laugh and smile. She is the most kindest, caring, personable and most Amazing woman. She went above and beyond when the shoes was not in store she helped us buy them through online. She Deserves a Raise and a Paid day off! We absolutely love her and Thank her for being there for us.

I was loving the store the products and until I realized that I was not being politely asked if I needed help because I was a customer but instead being profiled judged and not even trusted enough to carry the items I had picked out and intended to purchase lied to and was told by a worker that they were going to go get me a buggie even after waiting long enough that I was sure they hadn't gotten busy helping another customer finally went to get my own buggie (I honestly didn't even know they had any until I was told they did) I finally realized I was being judged by my appearance I guess I should have went straight home from work instead of trying to surprise my other half with a few well deserved gifts. People like the workers here are why I always shop online I really hope they all find themselves in similar situations so they can know how it feels

It's a nice place very nice workers but we never find anything here that we want to buy perhaps we just aren't jcpenny fans but other than that it's clean and the ppl are friendly

Super hot in the store when we visited. Even an employee made note. Though that same lady, an older lady, with blonde hair was super pushy on her sales and a bit condescending.
