We ordered a crawfish and a dipped sandwich they were delicious and any ppl from New Orleans living anywhere near here I recommend trying this place. There's a few others as well. I'm not sure the bread is traditional New Orleans French bread because it's softer and not as crunchy but it still held up again the fillings. I have never seen French bread that texture back home but I still enjoy the heck out of my food. Oh and everything is seasonedKid-friendliness: They had plenty sandwich options for kids

I have been 5 times now and Good Boy Po-Boy has gotten progressively worse. The first time I went(opening day 2/1/23), It was good, a little heavy on the gravy but as long as it tastes good, give it to me. I likened it to Pirate's Cove in Pass Christian and that is a good thing. It has been a disaster since. Inconsistent sandwiches, a lot of gravy then hardly any gravy, ask for mayo, get barely any mayo, roast beef is cold, etc. Ask for some gravy on the side and get told no. Could Good Boy Po-Boy be something? Maybe, but I can't afford to go back. The sandwiches are too expensive to take the chance that it might be just okay all the way to down right bad. The chips are nonedible, I applaud trying to make your own but they are over salted every time. Give me some gravy to dip those chips in because by themselves they stink. Broma chips in Brookhaven, that is the way to make your own chips! The idea is great, I want to be able to go downtown and eat at a local sandwich shop, I live right down the street. But this isn't Tiger Po-Boy in Hammond. It really is not worth your time or money. Maybe for $2.50 less a sandwich I could afford to roll the dice but not at these prices. Drinks are expensive everywhere but at least give me something larger than a shot glass to drink from, and stop charging my kid full price for a CUP of water, that is offensive. Charge me for the cup but not soda price for fountain water.Lastly, the service has ranged from not great to bad. Perhaps they are always one worker short and that leads to the counter person feeling annoyed she has customers but it is no fun to overpay for spotty food and rude service. No one is a bigger fan of sandwiches than I but I don't think this will be it. And even if it got better, I have been burned enough, I wont go back. Send me some coupons because I am willing to have my mind changed but it is a pretty steep hill to climb, like trying to push a car up East Jasper!Honestly Subway is better and that is really saying something.Parking: It is a small lot but there is parking around. It may take a few passes to find a spot but there will be something.

Way overpriced for what it is. Guy working was super nice and helpful, though, so I give them 5 stars for service.

Over-priced meh poboys. Soggy in-house made chips and dainty cups for drinks. Not worth the time or day.

The chips had a solid layer of salt on them. They could not even be eaten. The “po’boys” are not real po’boys, they are just regular subs! The breads not even authentic French bread. They were not friendly and the service takes forever. It should not take 30 minutes to receive a sandwich. It’s pretty pricey and you can get way better stuff at subway.

I don't want to think race played a part in this but I can't help it feel like it did I mean this is Brandon so I went to Good Boy Po Boys today and ordered one sandwich when I went in there were maybe three people who had already been served so I placed my order two white ppl come in after me and they placed orders also so I sat and I waited and the first man was served ok I didn't think anything of it and so I went next door to Genna Benna to get my mom some catfish and when I came back my sandwich still wasn't ready so I waited and the second man was served and I was still just standing there. I work in the restaurant business so I understand patience but they were not busy and it was just a sandwich so why was my mom's order ready before my sandwich was. So I ask for a refund she goes to the back and stays for about 5 minutes and she finally comes out with the manager and all of the sudden my sandwich is put on the counter. Why did it take me asking for a refund to get service? Mind you I was the only brown person in there and these people ordered after me and got their food. Then when I said I was going to call and speak to the owner the manager says ok whatever you do that. Mind you I was very respectful and just asked for a refund I didn?t get loud or rude am I reading too much into this or are my feelings justified?

I rarely write reviews but I get tired of places like this doing minimal and getting by. My first time to go here. Sunday at lunch. First they ran out to f chips. It was either take what we have left or leave it. We had a party of 5. We got three bags of the plain. They were so salty they were unpalatable. Next for the amount of customers I felt service was slow. One person in our group asked for no lettuce. Of course it was sent with lettuce. When he said something they just scraped ot off and gave it back. It took 3 times to get right. I asked for extra mayo. Was given small cup about 1/4 full. Sandwich wasn’t particularly good. Very dry bread. No seasoning. Overall not a good experience

The Turkey melt was not good. Too much Mayo and the lettuce was old. Very soggy. The Scooby Shrimp special would have been good if she had actually put the special sauce on it. For my first time here, sadly I was disappointed. Would have been worth the $27 had it been good. The chips being homemade chips was a nice touch but they could back off the seasoning just a little- extremely salty. The lady was nice and quick with the order and the bread is good.

Food was alright, nothing to go crazy about. However, definitely not worth the $40 for 2 to eat in my opinion.

They have "GREAT" po-boys... The Beast is my favorite. I added peppers to mine and it was great. They are very nice and accommodating to take off and add what I like and don't like trying very hard to make me happy. Christy took care of me and I highly recommend eating at Good Boy PoBoy's and No one paid me to say this. Enjoy.

Review foor good boys not bakery next door. Some reviews are not relevant Nice new looking inside, atmosphere. The Philly was ok. Slightly better than subway. Not much roastbeef, thinly sliced deli style meat, mostly bread, and lettuce. If I had to predict if it stays in business, I'd say no.But hey I'm from Louisiana, poboys just aren't made same. Gotta have good French bread, and langappe " that Lil something extra" for no fee.Parking: Hard to get in and out of parking lot.

Hey All I say this the meal was delicious and I go back but the time it took to make good boy sandwich did not impress this customer like I said the meal was delicious and hot it’s the service that I’m not happy with. I gave you five stars for the food not for anything else.
