This Walmart (which is located in Byram, Mississippi) is basically your typical Walmart. I travel a lot for work and usually need to stock up on water and/or a snack for my evenings in a hotel. Hey, as I said, it is a Walmart, so the service is going to be what you expect from a Walmart. Also, again, it is a Walmart, so some things are well priced or at the very least, competitive.

All there signs are backwards and the lady checking the receipts at the door grabbed my arm because didn't use a plastic bag. Last I checked that's that's not a rule and I gave her my recipe.

This Walmart is in a good location. But you absolutely can not get any help from the people who work there. They don't give a hoot if your there or not. I went in looking for a baby gift my wife found online. Had the location. I asked the 2 people up front when I walked in for some direction. The male suggested that the female take me to the location. She said she had something else she had to to but just go that way ( pointing her finger). I proceeded only to find a group of ladies putting up stock. I walked amongst them in the baby section, looking at my phone, looking at the location #s. They were talking about boyfriends, getting off of work and other topics I don't care to mention. But a guy walking around, lost in the baby section did not catch their eye or interest to even ask if could they help me. I finally figured out the layout looking for section 32. Guess what. It stops at 31. I flagged down a passing employee & showed him what I was looking for. He could not find the location either. Then he told me the item I was looking for was down there where the lady was that was working. I said ok. I'll try it again. I proceeded back to that section again only to have the same result as before. The WM employees were busy with their conversations & I was absolutely no interest to them. A lost male in the baby section walking around looking at his phone & shelves for a gift. They showed to have it in stock. But the location listed did not exist. Walmart will be the absolutely last place I will go to get ANYTHING. My money will be spent at locations where my patronage is appreciated. Helpful, friendly service goes along way with me. Take care Walmart I'll make sure my portfolio does not have Walmart in there anywhere.

When this store first opened the employees were friendly and the store was clean. Now the store is filthy and employees are beyond rude.. don't like this store at all.. it completely has gone down hill..

The staff doesn't look like they hate life, which makes me happy for them. That's not always true at Walmart cuz their costumers vary in common decency. The store was clean and well organized, again a nice treat.

Always busy but I believe it is one of the best Wal-Mart's in the area, staff always seems friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and the shelves are always stocked and orderly

For longest while I lived here, the city or at the time town of Byram spoke of tearing down the old Byram Middle School and adding a Walmart. looky looky... They finally built one and now Byram is a city from what I see. Just right across the street from Vowell's with competitors Krogers and Vowells, Walmart will not stand a chance for these two grocery stores. yup, the store smells and feels like a Walmart, but minus the large size of most Walmarts. its so quaint and cute. I love the new edition to Byram. I know, when I used to live here I had to drive all the way to Hazlehurst or even Clinton from my parents house for a Walmart, that's nearly a 45 minutes drive out just for groceries. yup, not no more thankfully. I'd seen some hamburger buns with onion bits on them, something I aint seen before. I just had to buy them. What a charm. Usually I find almost everything with bacon infused in it, yuck. Now, something that's actually worth while to eat with caramelized onions, yummy! The store is spotless, no junk at all. Also, no smelly McDonald's as you walk in, only a bread smelling Subway. Every aisle is neat and in order. Additionally, every lane was open and our cashier, Jasmin was extremely quick with bagging. She was nice and give us great customer service. in the parking lot, its so simple to find parking. There's a young guy collecting baskets or what the natives would say buggies. Yup, this is probably the only Walmart that I actually like. I didn't even spot a freak show, everyone looked like they were happy with life and living.

Brand new Walmart. Very clean and quick checkout. Usually has been in stock for everything I have needed. Everyone here is friendly and will help you find what you are looking for!
