They gave been processing my deer and hogs for years. Great sausage, great service, nice folks. I have tried others but Fortenberrys is the best.

They always have what I need . Many select meats , frozen vegetables , bread , all dairy, there's just not enough space too write it all. Great people, it's a great all around shopping

As somebody who doesn’t eat a lot of meat( and gets grossed out by it) I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the store. The store seemed like a little market more than a meat house but I wasn’t mad by it. The service was great and the atmosphere was very ‘homey’. Unfortunately we were there to get the meat box special and they were out but that’s not that big of a deal. Extremely impressed and will be returning.

It is painful for me toGive this place 2 stars. The place is clean, and product quality is top notch. But the whole rating in my case is the method they have changed to accepting venison during the deer season. Having to arrive at 6:30AM to drop venison off is ridiculous. Example: I call the day before ask if they are open to accept venison and I'm told we open at 6:30AM tomorrow if you are not here by 8AM you had better call. So I have to drive 50 minutes to get there and arrive at 7:15AM and I am refused. That's it! I love that place and would drive out of my way to get there but no more for deer processing. Love you lady's I hope you find a better way to handle deer processing cause I am not the only formally loyal customer that you have pissed off! Sorry!

I live in Ohio and come down to visit family yearly. I always stock up while I am here. The Deer Sausage is always great. Staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Their deer processing is great for ground meat , however if you are like me and drove a hour there to drop your meat just be prepared that they may not take it because they are full. This has happened to me on numerous occasions even after calling before hand . Quite aggregating to say the least especially since I do over 50 animals a year .

This is the first time I have used Fortenberry for deer processing. After all the good things I have read on google reviews I gave them a try, I can be honest to say I’m disappointed the flavor of the deer sausage is not good at all. The sweet heat , pineapple and brown sugar and green onion are just not good at all the brown sugar and pineapple was overwhelmed with pepper. The sweet heat has no flavor it’s just spicy almost like Cajun sausage and the green onion is just not good at all. Maybe I just got my deer processed on a bad day, But I paid a premium price for this deer to get processed.
