I got a diagnostic on my truck and they told me it was my thermostat housing and I paid $541 then they told me I need another $500 for a water pump that they didn’t tell me about at first. No one could tell me what was the purpose of the diagnostic check. I have spent a lot of money with them but not anymore I don’t recommend anyone to them.

Tim and his team are top notch. What most mechanics may see as too much and they can’t turn it fast enough , they are up for any challenge. Knowledge and experience goes a long way. They shoot you straight. Sometimes it may not be the answer we as customer WANT to hear but I can assure you that is the solution that Northside has thought out and stands on. I have always felt part of the process when I use Northside. From start to finish it’s a partnership and they understand the value of a hard earned dollar. If you need anything done and want a trustworthy team that will execute flawlessly, do not hesitate to partner with them! I would recommend them for their quick response to your problem, however I took my vehicle in to be repaired after being referred to them. I initially was told that I needed tune up, but after looking at my vehicle Destin told me that I only needed a fuel injector. After installing it, my vehicle still had the same issues, so he replaced it at no extra labor charge. My issue with them is my vehicle is still having these issues and when I called to see what next steps could/would be, I did not get a returned call and my calls became unanswered. I only wished I had gotten a detailed printout of the diagnostics. I paid a pretty decent bill and I feel like after that second time in, they didn't care anymore. (could be wrong) Very nice people, and I'm not knocking the work.

I’m very particular on who touches my car and do most everything myself, but I trust these guys whole heartedly with my car if the need ever arises. They helped me with my car when I was super sick and couldn’t work on it myself during that time. They quickly took care of me, didn’t screw me over like some shops like to do with female customers, and were very professional! They’re also car enthusiasts so I love dropping by now and then to talk cars and check in with the progress on their builds. I recommend these gentlemen to anyone looking for a reputable shop!

I brought my truck in to get a B & W hitch put in. They cleaned up and painted all holes . It looks good with no rattling. I would recommend them to everyone.

Staff is always friendly and helpful.
My Vehicle was brought in for oil change and a diagnostic test. Service and repairs was done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this shop for any or all of your repair needs.

Top notch family run Small business!!
As a small business performing home repairs, my schedule changes constantly. Tim and Destin go out of their way to work me into their schedule without delay and finish the work quickly with excellent results.
All of the technicians at the shop are good solid friendly guys and everyone strives to keep the shop clean and organized.
I use a special type of oil in my diesel engine and they have no problems with me bringing my own specific supplies.
I had an oil leak on the truck that other local mechanics were saying it would cost $1500-2000 and couldn’t get me in for repairs much less and inspection for 2 weeks. Northside Auto understood my situation and fit me in to diagnose the leak to find a much simpler remedy and got me in a few days later on a Saturday morning for a $500 repair that solved the problem.
They also have a heavy duty lift that is suitable for my heavy tool laden 2016 F250 crew cab truck.
They enjoy working on modern as well as classic cars.
