I have been reading many comments from fellow small business owners, about having so many issues securing funding for the PPP (Payroll Protection Program, which helps pay employees and some qualified expenses for 8 weeks). I am extremely grateful for my local bank, BankFirst, and my loan officer, Tim Henderson. Tim was on top of his game before the Cares Act passed and kept me abreast of what I would need to submit, once the law passed. He has always responded quickly to our calls and emails, and has been our banker for over 20 years. I submitted my PPP info to BankFirst on Friday, April 4. They submitted info to SBA on Monday, April 6. I got approved on Tuesday and signed the documents on Wednesday. The funds were in our account on Thursday, April 9. Exceptional service. Thanks Tim, Felisa and all the BankFirst team. You are awesome!”

“Ashley has been exceptional!!!! Having worked in this industry, I know where most mortgage loan originators fall short and where buyers and real estate agents get the most frustrated. She was VERY professional and responsive...even when I was the typical buyer and couldn't wait 8 hours to see if the loan estimate was out, the appraisal was in, the closing documents went out, the clear to close came in. In short, I'm a little embarrassed by how impatient I was. Through it all, she was patient and understanding. Communication was consistent and we close today.....3 weeks from application to closing!!!!!To put a fine point on this, if I was still in this business, I would try very hard to steal her from you. :)”

“I’ve been with this Citizens National Bank since I was in high school, and I’ve never had any issues with them until today. Before I state my issue, I will first say that I love this bank because most of the tellers know you by name. Everyone is always friendly and more than helpful. My issue is with the customer care center. I called this morning, after not really getting a clear answer on an issue, I asked to speak with someone. The representative I spoke with refused to let me speak to someone. He first told me the bank was closed. Although, Lehmberg location is closed on Saturday, North Columbus Branch isn’t. When I told him this he proceeds to mislead me again, by telling me no one at the North Columbus Branch could assist me. He tells me, only the Lehmberg Branch could assist me because that branch was over my account. Then he tells me that only the bank manger could help me. Even if that was the case, the customer care representative was very misleading and purposefully denying to transfer me to an individual in the Branch location. I’ve always received impromptu and friendly service from Citizens, but today I was very dissatisfied with the service I received from your customer care center. I understand they are there to help route calls, which may not be as important. However, at no time should a customer be purposely mislead and denied the right speak to anyone in the branch. So I guess my issue is more with the customer care center than the actual bank and services.”
