I've been a customer of Bob's paint and auto body in Columbus Mississippi for a number of years. The results have always been flawless and they have always gone above and beyond to make sure my vehicle is ready when I pick it up and that the quality level is where it needs to be. As of today I am no longer a customer. They called me to tell me my vehicle was ready, when I went to pick it up I immediately notice the rear hatch was misaligned to the body. I went out and asked for someone to come out and look and they said they would take care of it. They called me back the next day and said it was ready so I took off work. When I got there and lifted the hatch to inspect the work I noticed several scratches and a trim panel popped off the rear hatch. It had been held on with hot glue. The clips were obviously broken off. The quality that was at Bob's towing and auto body is no more. I cannot recommend them to anyone.

I had to bring my car here around 5 years ago and came by again today. Every time that I’ve been by, everyone has been incredibly kind and helpful. The environment is very nice, and they were honest about what it would take to fix things and what your best options are. Both the kind lady working the front desk and the mechanic were incredibly helpful, and I’ll definitely be back if I ever need work done again. I definitely recommend them!

Just had my headlights replaced, not only did Bobs keep me informed throughout the whole process but they did it extremely quick and my car looks brand new! I will definitely continue to use bobs for all auto body repairs, Danny, Robert and Ashley were all so great and easy to work with!

I had one accident in my car which is a 2013 Volkswagen passat. The 1st time I took my car there, communication was poor about when my car will be finished and it took over a month for them to finish it. I had to call to get an update on my car because they were not communicating with me at all otherwise, when I picked it up I looked at my car closely and they forgot to fixed the rocker panel on the passenger side of the car. So i had to take it back a second time because of their negligence and it was there for about a 4 weeks. I called to ask when my vehicle will be finished and I was told false information every time. The last time I called, they gave me a date to pick up, so I went a few days AFTER the pick up date and I was STILL unable to pick up my vehicle because they were not finished. After taking my vehicle, I observed the passenger side door is a darker than the rest of my car, but I’d rather deal with that than to go back to that place. I don’t recommend.

Replaced hood w/o letting us know . Robert called and apologized for the bad service and said they would use this experience as a learning tool and said they would correct the poor communication. The hood they painted was excellent but it was poor communication on what they were going to do. They do great work!!!

This is my first time using this body shop and I am very disappointment in the service that I received. I contacted them regarding my 2005 Ford Mustang that got hit on the passenger side from the door and all the way down. Before the car went to the body shop, the shop and state farm was informed of the issue with the car cutting off after it got hit. I was concern that it was the fuel pump. I wouldn't have let them tow a car that was drivable. My son drove the car after it was hit and started cutting off when he stops. After the car was tow, I spoke with Haley and another gentleman over there regarding making sure the car is checked to see if something happened to the fuel pump during the accident. The claim adjuster had me on hold while he contacted Bob's to make sure it was addressed. I was contacted on April 26 by Haley stating the car was ready. I addressed the issue again about the car cutting off. I was told that they did a diagnostic on the car and it didn't show anything but the anti-theft light on. I picked up the car on April 27 and when I got there the mustang decal was not on the right side. I was told they could not find it. I informed them that I had to pay for it last time and I am not going to pay for it again. I told them that I got it from Ford and they called to see if they could get it put on. I took the car home and it stopped the next day. I called over there upset because I have said this several times. They pulled the car on April 28 and sent it to Ford. Haley stated that she will contact the insurance company to let them know what is going on. I received a call from Ford asking did I drop the car off there. I informed them that Bob's Paint & Auto Body did and they needed to contact them. The mechanic at Ford stated that they don't work on cars that is older than 15 years old. I did not hear from Bob's on what happen with Ford. I contacted them this morning and no answer. I contacted the claim adjuster with State Farm to let them know what was going on. She contacted the company and found out they didn't do things correctly with the supplement damage. I was told by the claim adjuster that the last conversation they had with Bob's was on August 21 letting them know the car would be ready by the 25th. I was told today that Bob was supposed to do a supplement damage before they send the car any where. The adjuster informed me that things were not done correctly. She stated with her conversation with John that car was picked up and back at the shop awaiting to find a place to go to fix it. I received a call from Haley letting me know what is going on and when I stated that if things would have been done correctly this wouldn't have happened. She stated that I was screaming at her on the phone because I stated facts. I was then told that the car was at In and Out with a diagnosis. I was not informed that In and Out fixed the car until I went there to pick up the car. They went to Ford and pick the car up and fixed it without no one informing me. I was told by In and Out that Bob called and stated they needed the car to be checked out and did not state anything about the car being hit on the side of the fuel pump. I was also told that In and Out picked up the car instead of the lies that were told to the claim adjuster this morning that they picked up the car. I went to pick up the car and had to pay out $350. I have been told so many lies with this company and getting the run around. This has been the first and last experience I will have with this company. I still don't have the decal on the right side of the car. They were unprofessional and lack communication skills. The company should have communicated better with me, the insurance company, Ford, and In and Out. I will be filling a report on this company.

Great service and friendly people! Had my Fiancé's car fixed after hitting a deer and they did a great job. They even polished the old headlight to match the new one they replaced!!!

Unfortunately my vehicle has been hit three times and a period of about 18 months... Every time it happens I go to Bob's painting Auto body. With the professional staff they do everything in their power to make sure the vehicle is first time right. As a 20-year military veteran I absolutely appreciate the time dedication Bob's puts into ensuring the customer has the best experience possible. I have to recommend Bob's Paint & Auto Body shop in Columbus to whom ever needs Body work or a paint job done . They have excellent customer service, kept me updated daily through out the process, and overall did an amazing job repairing & painting the damage on my car .
