My dad is 84 and I have to text his prescriptions because he doesn't know how. Is there not an easier way? Why not just fill the prescription and text the patient when it's done? I get my medication refilled automatically. Military always has to make things complicated.

Absolutely ridiculous! The number is either busy or operator tells you all circuits are busy to try back later. So hard to get a person on the phone. And when trying to get medicine transferred to another base while out of town, you can forget it! Getting your medicine should not be to exhausting!

The MHS Genesis patient portal is available to send us direct messages and process refills online. Search for the MHSG patient portal on the internet. Our phone hours of operation are from 11am to 3pm. Outside of these hours you may send us a text message to 833-321-4516 with the message “get in line” We will process prescriptions automatically when received from your provider. Generally new prescriptions are ready within 48 hours. If you require same day pickup please text or call us so that we can ensure your prescription is prioritized. Refill prescriptions from other military pharmacies may be called in to our refill line at 662-434-2799.
