We bought some cream legbar chicks from them. Wesley was genial and welcoming. He seems to really know quite a bit about his farm and cares for his animals. Our chicks are now 16 weeks old - all bright, beautiful, and curious. We are contemplating getting some bielefelders from him next.

Fast shipping on my silverrudd’s blue eggs, and I was given a extra. It was packed extremely well, and I had 4 hatch, two in the final stage but didn’t absorb the yolk completely. 3 hens and one rooster! I will be ordering again. Thank you

I ordered cream crested legbars and immediately got a call from Wesley about my order. He was such a nice man and explained there would be a delay in n shipping because the cream crested weren't laying. After a couple weeks, I ended up going with a dozen different type of legbar after spending about half an hour on the phone talking chicken with Wesley. He told me the eggs would be shipped within 2 weeks but I got them in 4 days. He sent 14 instead of 12. 8 hatched, 2 wee shrinked wrapped and we are nursing one of those. 2 developed but never pipped, 1 died at the embryonic stage, and 1 never developed at all. I will definitely order from Omega Hills again.

UPDATE 11/5/22 I am editing my review posted in 2018 and bumping the original rating of 2 stars to 5. I just had an amazing hatch of Isbars. I purchased 2 dozens though. You can't expect a good hatch from shipped eggs. When purchasing hatching eggs over the mail, you have to factor in the ones that won't develop, the ones that will develop, but won't hatch, males vs. females. Lots to consider.I won't buy Isbars from anywhere else.I ordered two dozen of Isbars hatching eggs. Not sure there were any extras. A few of them were white like the eggs laid by my white leghorn layer. Out of the two dozen, only 6 hatched successfully, including two chicks from the white eggs mentioned. The chicks are black. They are cute but I am not sure of what they are. Seven eggs were not even fertilized, and the rest quit developing.

I bought a dozen crested crème leg bar eggs from omega hill farms for my friend who has a flock. the eggs took a week to mail, and took over five days to get here with no tracking number. We never know when or if they would arrive. They arrived a day late according to owners info over phone and the packing was damaged.Second, he sent 14 eggs, which was nice to have extras, but all were incubated correctly and out of all of them, only TWO eggs hatched. Reading other reviews it seems others have had the same problem. Only a .14% hatch rate. I would not recommend ordering.

Shipped out quick- so very well packaged in foam inserts and small box inside a bigger padded box! Owner is responsive and friendly. Big eggs! Sent extra. Hoping for a good hatch!

Ordered 6 eggs and they sent 7, very nice of them and very well packed. Did however notice the eggs were very small, something a young hen would start to lay nonetheless we put them into the incubator and after 4-5 days we noticed 3 eggs where infertile. Out of the remaining 4 eggs only 3 hatched and wouldn’t you know it 2 roosters and a hen. Very disappointed. I could understand if the incubator had failed but 3 infertile eggs is half of what I ordered.

Owner was very responsive - I reached out before ordering on the website to see when the eggs would ship (to coordinate with my own hatching). Eggs were very well packed - in foam egg holders in a box within a box with some padding. After they ship it's really up to USPS on how they are handled....Ordered a dozed, received 14, one was busted and another cracked during transit, so I was left with 12. All 12 were fertile, we had two that stopped developing early on, but 10 made it to lockdown. 9/10 hatched. All had attached air cells, though some weird blips and triangles that expanded on a normal air cell (I'd attribute this to the risks of shipping eggs).I was hoping for a 50% hatch rate considering the trauma from shipping -so I'm very happy!!!

I ordered hatching eggs from them I hatch out mail order eggs all the time with great success. I only had a 25 percent hatch rate compared to a usual 70 To 80 percent rate. A lot of there eggs did not even candle fertile. tried reaching out to them multiple times with no response. Not good customer service.

Ordering was pretty easy and the eggs came well packed. Extras were sent along. Only one out of 22 eggs was cracked. Communication was easy. The Crested Cream Legbars were great, all 8 were viable and five hatched. The Double Silver Laced Barnevelders didnt do so well, only two out of 13 were viable. One hatched and is healthy and of course looking like a roo (pictured below at four weeks). It’s gray, so not sure it’s a DSLB. Friendly and helpful.

You can trust this chicken breeder. I had an excellent experience buying eggs from this farm and now have some beautiful Double Silver Laced Barnvelders to add to my flock. I'm very pleased and believe I now have the prettiest flock in my state!

Purchased a half dozen black copper maran eggs. Only 1 of them took. Most were not fertile. I then contacted the owner and he was on it to send me more. No hesitation. I know it’s hard to predict how nature takes it coarse. We don’t always know what will be fertile and what won’t. I have got 6 out of the 7 eggs to hatch so far. Overall awesome customer service!

Ordered 12 eggs and received 14. One was cracked upon delivery so incubated 13 eggs and had zero hatch despite efforts to protect the air cell. The eggs varied in size a lot. A few nice big fat eggs but more skinny eggs and a few in between. You may have better luck with an order of 6 as the packaging was good except that there was just one thin layer of foam in between each set of 7 eggs so I think the eggs bumped into each other a bit in shipping. I think the testimonials on the website are very hand selected and not a good representation of customer feedback.
