Food was good, I've been looking for a great Reuben! This one was good but not great! My friend had the patty melt and she was extremely excited! We both had chocolate shakes! Yum I'd drive back to Cornith just for the shake! Loved the history of the place! Could be better displayed and the tables and memorabilia could be a bit better laid out so it doesn't feel like an afterthought! Dusting needed as well!

This place is great, go and you won't regret it. The history of the building alone is attractive but the food is over the top. Their website has a phenomenal backstory of the restaurant and its namesake. The food is great but it is always busy so expect a slight wait for your food/ service but trust me it is worth it. Their burger is one of the best I have ever had just the way it comes but my only complaint are the fries, assumably frozen crinkle cuts, I know they can do better than that. A place this good deserves better than that.

Such a great experience! The food and the service was great, but the ambience was even better! Great experience. Highly recommend it!

I had a patty melt with onion rings. When the patty melt came to the table, the smell gave me a little swell of emotion. It fired some neurons that put me back in the comfort of my childhood (in the 60's) - kind of like catching a whiff of perfume from a long lost amor. The rye bread was grilled but not greasy, with a nice crunch. (It comes on rye. I suggest you stick with that.) The meat patty was generous, and the white cheese (cheddar? American?) was perfectly melted. There were chopped onions in the melted cheese. It was a nice addition. The sandwich came out HOT and was still very warm on my last bite. There is nothing I would change about the patty melt. It was awesome. The place has a nostalgic, historic feel to it. It's nice to go to a place, that doesn't feel like it was manufactured to look like something it isn't. The staff was very friendly, and very accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed the place and the food.

The food was wonderful, but the service was AWFUL. Completely unorganized. It took nearly an hour to get a rueban and a patty melt. The server practically dropped the food on the table on her way by. She did not check to see if we had everything (which we did not). It took another 10 minutes to get the attention of one of the 5 servers working. No one came back to check on us after we got our food. It took another 15 minutes to try to pay at the cash register. Not sure I want to try this again.

What a great stop on our Sisters’ Trip! I had a delicious strawberry soda and a great patty melt with tots. We also tried a Slugburger. Fun atmosphere and great service!

Borroum's is a throwback to the old school drugstore soda shops of yesteryear. The atmosphere is authentic, the waitresses are nice, the food is good & of course, they make great milkshakes. If you ever find yourself in Corinth, Mississippi this place is a definite must stop for lunch.

Unique!! Food is fantastic, service is amazing for them to be such a very busy place. Interesting historical items on display, War of Northern Aggression artifacts, arrowheads, etc. all found locally.

Loved the small town atmosphere of the diner. They only accept cash or check which I wasn’t prepared for so I only had a lemonade which was delicious! I hope to return to try other menu items.

Fun place filled with history! Lots of servers, food came out very fast. We enjoyed trying the "slug burger" , my husband thoroughly enjoyed his patty melt which was cooked exactly as he specified - chocolate malt and hot fudge sundae was great too! Highly recommend to check it out!

A hidden gem with history over 160 years. The oldest drugstore in America still operated by the same family.Came at the end of the lunch hour and was placed was super busy with diners and those just getting ice cream. Luckily there was an open table but it took awhile for order to be taken.Once ordered, food came out quick and it was delicious. The portion size was perfect. Left enough room for dessert. Ordered a peanut butter sundae with vanilla ice cream. All I can say is wow wow wow!Highly recommend this place for lunch if you are in town and love American historical places.

We try and visit Borroum's each time we travel through Corinth. Their hamburgers and onion rings are spectacular. We also splurge on occasion for a vanilla malt. Fun place with a real fountain counter.
