We checked in and went to the room. When we got to the room and closed the door on the back of the door was a nymph German cockroach. Immediately went and told the front desk and checked out.

A really awesome experience. Staff are easily the most pleasant and helpful I've experienced on my road trip across America. The rooms leave nothing to be desired. They are clean, have microwave, TV, and spacious. We stopped in late needing a bit of sleep and they were so kind and helpful. Had great night sleep and can hit road all rested today. So glad we stopped!

Econo Lodge was a great place. The hallway is inside and you have to use your room key to open the outside door. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean and there were NO bugs! Wi-Fi was available. Front desk ladies -- check in and check out were very nice and friendly. It was easy to get to. They don't have a hot breakfast, but Waffle House is across the street and Cracker Barrel is down the street. There are many eateries to choose from close by as well. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

I'm not sure her name but I came on Friday night and had issues finding my room even after she explained it to ne and the lady at the front was an immense help. She went above and beyond for me. I was so grateful to her!! I've honestly never had such great service at a hotel in my life !!! I could have hugged her and recommended her for the nobel peace prize. I wish I knew her name so I could tell her THANK YOU SO MUCH because I was having a really bad day and she will never know how much her warmth and kindness meant to me!

Room we had was very clean and well kept. Easy access off 72. Can be confusing with 2 hotels in one area. Can easily end up in the wrong area of rooms or front desk area.

Front desk, Tyler, was so great!
The room was clean, and the location was convenient. Easy access to room from parking. Breakfast is next door at other hotel connected. Both have same owner.

Short story...Stay Here! This EconoLodge is probably the best motel we have stayed at in this price range! Room looks freshly remodeled. Microwave, fridge, iron, etc. Clean, comfortable bed and pillow. Elevator to upper floors. Very secure, well lit parking in cove between this and the Holiday Inn next door. Only one way in/out. Not very attractive to criminals. The outside doors actually lock and require a door key to get in. Close to restaurants, gas, stores. They are renovating many rooms. The Holiday Inn next door is the same owner so that's where we get to go for breakfast, at least temporarily.

With over 100 nights stayed at a choice property, I must say I was extremely pleased and impressed with you young lady that helped me check in after being on the road for 15 hours. She did a great job, as well as the staff that was there in the morning. While a somewhat dated location, I can see efforts being made to update the place. My room was comfortable and clean, with the bathroom having been updated with new fixtures. I must say that I was originally skeptical, but....pleasantly surprised. I have added this location to my saved list.
