The chicken is phenomenal. But this is how my last interaction with a particular worker went: -I need an 8 piece mixed and 4 thighs -*silence, as he boxes it up* -I also need an order of chicken livers -*you couldn't have said all that at once?* -excuse me? -*uhhh, you couldn't have said all that at one time? I could've been thinking about what all you wanted in my head...* This worker makes my family never want to stop here. He has been rude to us over SOMETHING every time he has been working when we went inside. Food is great, but that guy just sucks.

The lady tried putting my polish sausage on the bun with no gloves on. After failing terribly, she proceeds to walk my sausage around the building looking for gloves bare handed. I asked for a new one after she gives my that one on top of it being torn all up and being out for a walk and all. She tells me "those are cheap 50 cent buns and if you can do better have at it"! She then throws her hands up and turns around. Undercooked chicken, dirty environment, rude customer service!!! Never again!!These photos is exactly how my food was handed to me. I had already paid and she refused to change it or refund me!

The best chicken in Corinth, MS. Just get it to go as the eating area is not the cleanest I've seen. Great people working here, fast and friendly.

The chicken. My lord the chicken! It is hard to comprehend, that in a town fraught with restaurants that offer chicken on their menu, how does this grungy old gas station sell so much fried chicken? What makes it so annoying is that, at all hours of the day and night, there are throngs of people in here to buy chicken, but there is NOT a separate register/line dedicated to the chicken purchases. When you pop in just to buy a pack of cigarettes you most likely will have to stand 6 deep in a line, waiting on the clerk to finish dropping chicken in the fryer before returning to the register. You can sometimes smell the old cooking grease wafting through the air as you drive through the intersection. Stomach churning at times. The location of this store makes it very difficult to merge back into the traffic as it is at one very busy intersection. There is a ton of foot traffic from the local neighborhoods. The need for cigarettes (husband) on days/hours the cigarette stores are closed is what keeps me/us popping back in here as much as we do. I've not had the courage to order any chicken but my curiosity will get the better of me one day.

You may remember TEXACO because "You can trust your car to the man who wears the star" but this particular gas station is known far and wide for its fried chicken. One of the few TEXACO gas stations left around, this busy stop on Harper Road may well sell more fried chicken than gasoline because many people swear what the sign in the window proclaims- Best Chicken in Town. A friend goes here regularly for her fried chicken liver and JoJo potato fix. Regular or spicy, if you like fried chicken maybe you should give it a try.
