What would make a fairly happy 30-year customer start looking for a replacement Bank? Having to call customer service. It is a nightmare. The IVR system is designed to irritate customers and make sure they can't talk to a real person. Finally, get to a person, then escalated the call twice (that's two agents and a person that claims to be in Management. Until I shared I just fired my insurance company of 30 years for a new one and Trustmark was moving to that arena - then a few mediocre alternatives were offered. If I didn't have a problem I wouldn't call, so why make it so impossible to get help? KEY TAKE AWAY HERE IF ANYONE READS THIS- Your IVR is a nightmare.

WORST BANK EVER! I had something coming automatically out of my bank for 9.99 and after i cancelled it it still came out so i put a stop payment in online..NOWHERE did it say there would be a 36.00 charge for this..so i was quite shocked to see that charge..when i called the bank they said there was nothing they could do about it and basically told me its not their problem that it doesnt warn you on the website..so i called corporate office and they said its up to the bank to decide whether or not they will take that charge off.. DOES ANYONE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS BANK?!?! Who in their right minds would pay 36.00 to have a 10.00 charge removed..this bank is a total scam..lost my business for sure.
