Had a tiny hiccup with ordering supplies and my insurance. I called and spoke with Deeva (hope I spelled correctly) and she addressed it immediately and with great efficiency. She resolved the matter and got my supplies shipped out promptly.All of my interactions have been good. Mistakes happen, it's about how they are handled. Hometown Medical did a good job!

I always felt tired, even after waking up and I blamed it on my Hypothyroidism. My primary doctors suggested sleep apnea test. When I got the results back, I went to Hometown medical, and they fitted me for a CPAP. It’s only been two nights since I’ve used it and waking up I feel normal again where I have energy and want to do things. Just wished I had this years ago. My experience with Hometown medical the people there are very friendly and efficient. The person that fitted me, for my mask was very knowledgeable, and I had plenty of questions, and he answered all of them. This is a great place to go.

My doctor referred me here for a Cpap. They called and set up an appointment. Doe to a conflict I tried to reschedule. Well after listening to an ad for a portable battery to use while hunting. I hung up.I called 5 times.Guess what ? I will not use a company I can not talk to on the phone or cancel an appointment. They are a waste of my time and rude. !

I was waiting for my grandson’s breathing machine for a week. No one called. When I called the guy told me it never got passed intake and kinda hanging there in “no man’s land” because the reason the Dr gave wasn’t good enough and that it was only a Rx and offered me to buy one. Pitiful!!! My grandson has been wheezing for 3 days and I’m waiting on this pitiful office and staff to call in which he states “no one probably was gonna call because it’s hanging here in no man’s land.”

Unfortunately my daughter's experience with this company has resulted in a decrease in mobility. In March she received a bed. Six weeks later the mattress sagged so badly she couldn't get out of bed by herself any longer. Hometown Medical did replace the mattress and we also purchased the suggested bed boards. After the 2nd service call, the technician said there was nothing else he could do. After repeated verbal contacts and several left messages, the agreed upon bed replacement was not only not performed but the branch manager would not respond to our concerns. As a result of their lack of communication and professional follow through, my daughter has lost the ability to get out of bed and has become completely incontinent. It is now October and apparently the springs are defective and it becomes like a giant washtub when she trys to get out of the bed. I would strongly suggest if at all possible meeting your equipment needs with a different company or purchasing online.

Not going back. Will find a better supply store that follows thru with orders and communication to ensure the process completes and the patient is cared for properly. I thought last experience with a friend I was taking care of was an isolated situation. It wasn't. Contacting weeks later to tell me her medical equipment was ready. I'd already talked to insurance so it was NOT insurance situation. Nowadays everybody wants to blame game while they sit on their tails. Now. It's me. I've been without medical equipment 5 days after spinal fusion. While my Rx sits in a bin. I could've purchased my needs online and been better for it. I think they have too much business and do not need anymore. Evidently. And so it's a lesson WELL learned! The hospital got me a walker. Better than nothing but still not what was needed for safety reasons. I am blown away at the way the business world has gotten these days. I'll tend to my own needs from now on. Buy online. And what I can't get online I'll find a better place. Good luck out there.

I was on hold for almost 20 minutes and they didn't answer. Finally, I was able to talk to someone. I told them what my Mom needed. They said if they didn't have a certain item in stock, we would have to pay for it to be ordered (by the way, we ordered supplies over 2 weeks ago that should have been delivered). Worst service ever!!!!?

Yolanda and the staff at Hometown Medical bent over backwards to get a bed delivered to my dad's house the same day. We were told the beds were really hard to come by. We were being kicked to the curb so to speak and only had a few hours to make arrangements. The bed is great and he loves it. The set up man very patiently explained how to control it and make adjustments. When he was done my dad climbed in an immediately was resting peacefully. The case worker at the hospital called many places for us. When Yolanda returned her call (one of the very few who did) she said, "I think I just got finished arranging the bed you were wanting." Sure enough she had just got off the phone with me. The case worker said she was keeping Yolanda and Hometown Medical as a primary resource. Thank You!

Connie is super nice and helpful. She is at the Vicksburg store and the lady that does the advertising on TV. I think she is the owner. Anyway very helpful lady! Thank you for your help today with my Cpap machine. :)
