Worst hair experience ever! I tried to give Stacey a chance, but she failed dramatically. Went in to get my grey roots colored and she colored everything but my roots. She bragged on her skills (which I knew was a BIG no-no) and had the audacity to say I got some of the grey!!!! I couldn't believe she even said that to me. Needless to say, this is the short version of the horrific experience. Won't be back!!!

I got a call from JC penney inquiring about an appointment I made and the lady that called me act as if I did something wrong, I scheduled a micro braid appointment and no where on the site does it say you have to have a consultation first. Glad I didn't know I actually had an appointment because I never received a email or text confirming the appointment, and when I went back on the appointment site it said no available appointments for that day. So I assumed it was a system error. Well I get a phone call about 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment to tell me I have 2 appointments scheduled, I said yes I had an appointment for a shampoo and the other was for micro braids and she tells me I have to have a consultation for the micro braids and act like she never heard of someone making two appoinments, If it can't be done then JC Penney need to have a better scheduling system. Well I'm glad I thought my appointment wasn't scheduled because I never received confirmation, and she was very sarcastic and rude about it!

I scheduled a haircut appointment for 12:30 pm with Jennifer. I arrived early and was asked to wait because Jennifer was putting foils in another lady’s hair. After waiting over 30 minutes I decided to leave. When I first arrived, another lady asked Jennifer if she’d like her to cut my hair, and Jennifer said no because I agreed to wait. When I finally decide to leave, Jennifer said someone else could cut my hair. I declined and left. Moral of the story is, don’t expect to have an appointment time even if you booked it online. I’m sure all of the other hairdressers are lovely, but Jennifer is not.

I had an excellent experience with Stylist Minh. He was attentive and provided great consultation for the health and styling of my hair!! Although, I knew I had to get my hair cut due to some damage, he did a beautiful job in maintaining the integrity and bringing out the beauty of color and highlights in my hair.. needless to say, I am quite pleased with the results!!Services: Hairstyling

Made an appointment with stylist a week ago online for 1/22/22 for my daughter. Left a message with stylist asking if they could do a cornrow feed in braid in the appointments comments.Never heard from stylist. Drop by salon Monday stylist not working. Drop by Friday was told stylist would be there. Stylist not there Friday, was given her business card to call her. Call her left a message. Also texted her with message and pictures of style wanting done. No phone call nor text answering my questions. Arrived to appointment at 1:30 on 1/22/22.Stylist rude because she said she didn’t know she was braiding hair today. Told her I made every attempt to reach her and she never call me back. I tell her the style that I wanted. Never once said she didn’t know how to do hairstyle. Makes a bad attempt and hair was horrible! Tell me then she’s not up with the new way of doing the feedin braids.If she would have called or communicated this could have been avoided. She mess up hair and charge $150 for something that was taken down as soon as my daughter got home. This is the worst service I have ever in my life seeing in a salon. Can you not communicate and just said no I can’t do that but I can do this or that.Service: Braids

I had an incredible appointment with their stylist, Minh, recently. He was so kind and professional and was extremely attentive to my hair's needs. He was also very friendly but not overbearingly chatty like a lot of stylists. I left with healthy feeling hair beautiful highlights. I'll definitely be going back to see him the next time I'm in town.Services: Hair colouring

Xavier was the cashier who checked me out in Flowood, MS. He was excellent and went above and beyond to help me find a coupon for my purchase. I let the survey code expire for the JC Penney website by accident and I found the receipt dated 2019 in my purse today. I had told Xavier that I would post a review and I forgot - so posting it here. I hope he is still working for the company as he was an excellent and friendly employee.

I am browsing, and an employee just came up to me to ask if I needed help. When I said no, he immediately went to the next customer. I don't think this is ever happened to me in a department store before. Good job JCPenney

Called & scheduled a perm. I arrived early & when l verified the price, was informed she charged $10.00 more than the price quoted. She called the manager & they tried to gigure out who l talked with the previous day. They were so sorry, but the stylist charged her price & would not honor the initial quote. Foolish decision, since she would have made it up with a tip l planned to give. Poor customer service.
