I never write reviews but this was the most AWFUL EXPERIENCE! We were told this appliance was in stock after we asked about two others and were told they were not in stock! We paid in full on Saturday, July 5 th for a delivery on July 6th. We paid for delivery! We were then told after hours of waiting it was NOT IN STOCK! And could not be delivered… then told it was in stock after we waited all day and we would have to come pick it up because now Monday, July 7 th they were completely booked with deliveries! We will go pick up the appliance we paid for and delivery for but I won’t ever do this again! Such a disappointment! I have the texts and will be glad to show you on the delivery!!!

Worst customer service I’ve ever had! I used to shop here pretty frequently so when I needed an AC unit this was the first place I came to. The unit was priced incorrectly , actually several units were in the wrong spot, so I asked for the price listed. I was met with rude employees, a manager that gave me the listed price but didn’t say a word to me. There was an older woman behind me in the same situation, when she asked for help getting the box inter her cart they huffed and reluctantly did so. I will probably not shop here again. They’ve really gone downhill.
After reading the cut and paste response from Lowe’s about this post and reading all of the other “Boxed” responses to other customers about the terrible service I’d say you don’t actually plan to change anything.

I bought windows with installation in February of 2025. I had to pay up-front and used lowes credit card. Now I pay monthly interest on windows that are still not installed. Its 6/21/2025 and my windows still aren't installed. Do not buy windows from Lowes!!!! I'd like to add a photo.

If I could give 0 stars I would. All I needed was 2 feet of chain. They have it where they sell it by the foot but it’s a huge 150 foot piece that has to be cut. I asked five times to get someone to the aisle to do it and nobody ever came. I stood there 30 mins. I told the last one if they would just let me use the bolt cutters I’d cut it off myself and she said I’d have to pay for the whole thing if I did that. There were literally more employees than customers so explain why nobody would come. Off to Ace I go and I won’t be back. Good luck if you need anything that involves an employee helping you here.

Some of the best employees.,There’s this one guy that is far above the rest Detrick at the south Jackson Lowe’s., When none else is available he seems to appear to save the day. On two Cassio s he’s been the saving grace. Y’all really should give this young man a raise and let him train others on how to answer the calls to their department.

Best experience ever! Thank you Mr. Walker for your help! We were having some trouble finding some fans and Mr. Walker with another gentleman, which I wasn't able to see his name tag, but he was in the fan section and he was around his 40s or 50', they helped my mom and I so much! Coming back again! ?

Can't believe all the extremely negative reviews. I've been to the "orange box" a few times and was disappointed in their service. It seems they do their best to ignore you or hope that you don't ask for help.
Lowes is much better, however, I have notice a greater lack of knowledge from the assistants lately. I chalk that up to what every other business is struggling with, finding dependable workers. Otherwise, Lowes has been my go to store for many, many years. I also appreciate their easy return policy,(as opposed to the orange box).
