I have had an account here for over a year and have found it extremely stressful in dealing with my brothers estate and his account. That good home town feeling is great for those who live here, however I have been dealing from out of state at the urging of my attorney to keep the money in state. I have repeatedly informed each telephone identity of this institution each time I have called. Always put on lengthy holds and asked same set of questions to get an account balance information and being informed this information is available on line. Except, after repeated attempts to use the online service, not once was I able to obtain even a balance. I finally resorted to ask that a 4 month period be emailed to me and that was the best I could do. When I opened this account in person, I met several fine people who knew and loved my brother. It was good to hear. However, I have now closed this account and pray front line staff positions are trained to answer questions asked and not make up an answer to get me off the phone. EX: I inquired how do I close out this account at the time I opened it and the front desk gentleman informed me I would need to come in. Fortunately I called before driving there from North Carolina and closed it in 15 minutes including wait time.Peace, Jan Cope

Had a really tough phone call with an employee who seemed like she only wanted to argue with me instead of providing possible solutions and/or help. I called the bank back after ending my call with her, pretty bummed, to let management know we were going to have to go in a different direction for our loan, but Quonta Harris answered the phone and was an absolute delight. PTL! Quonta was eager to fix my issues with kindness and explained every step of the process clearly. Quonta was by far one of the most positive people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with and I am so glad he picked up the phone today.

I miss the old Statewide...been with them since I was 15 or younger. I absolutely hate whatever had been changed. Lady at the window once asked me what the company did i work for because my deposits were so big. It was awkward. I remember getting my check deposited a day early now that rarely happens. The excuse was that my employer changed something. Had a deposit in libo because of whatever the ignorant excuse was. Never had that happen before. Got some information from one of the loan officers there about refinancing., completely wrong and Ms. Queeny had to clear all of that up and I absolutely adore her. Those new people are not my style with banking...

I’ve had 4 loans with them well over 20k worth total. Never missed a payment or was late. When I needed a very small under 1,000 loan they turned me down because of past medical bills I currently have payment plans on. The same medical bills were on there when they gave me 3 of the other loans. Very disappointed. I’ve been banking with them since 2014.Pam at statewide called me and said it was a miscommunication. Great customer service as usual. Which is why I was so confused to begin with. Revised assignment of review.

Nice friendly people. But....... To friendly at times. Trying to go there and make a payment takes so long. If you go to the drive thru the teller is having talks of the "good ole" days. And when you go inside all the teller counters are closed and one window open and no one is there but ladies are talking off to the side that clearly saw me walk in and a guy at a desk on the phone never checked up to see if I needed help or not and the drive thru lady saw me standing there and looked at the other ladies talking looked back at me and never said a word and went back to her window. So at the end of the day it's a horrible place to have to go to make a payment if you are on a lunch break.

Had been happy with my Credit Union until I purchased GAP INS for a car loan. Car was totaled October 5, 2020. It is now 12/23/2020 and my Credit Union has not bothered to check up on this. I have personally called my credit unions insurance company and told twice to wait 10 more days for the payment to process. Today I asked my CU rep to call and find out what is taking so long. She was told to wait until the end of December for process to finish. Almost 90 days and we are still on waiting for a payoff. This is NOT acceptable. Our CU has a responsibility to deliver better service to their members.Second issue: My daughter attempted to open an account with this CU. She was told she was unable to be seen until the following week. I know covid has put a damper on things but I find it odd that it would take an 8 day wait to be seen for this. She is now a Regions account holder as they saw her the day she called.Shouldn't we expect better?

Great bank but they do not have a 24/7 number to help if your card is locked or if you need other assistance. They have a line for lost or stolen but if your card gets locked up you have no way of knowing unless you try to use it. You don't get a phone call nor does it tells you on the app which is outdated compared to other credit union apps.

Queeny has been wonderful to work with. They were able to renew my loan with a lower precentage rate than other credit unions. Also the loan process is painless. I would recommend this credit union to anyone that is looking for a checking account or that needs a loan.
