Sadie's Sorghum cookie is hands down one of the best cookies ever. It's kinda like the old fashion cookie you would get from the package at your grandma's house but way better. I failed to take a picture of the cookie because it did not last! Deborah was a treasure of knowledge and I felt like we were family.

Stopped by while visiting French Camp. The lady who helped us was very friendly and the bread was delicious.

The fresh-baked goods are incredible, but the staff is the friendliest and nicest of any place I have ever been. I drove 2 hours out of the way just to go there and it was well worth it.

About French Camp Bakery
For more than 50 years, French Camp Academy has been baking bread and using it to say “thank you” to our many supporters. Early in his administration, Mr. Sam Patterson, president of FCA from 1950 – 1967, started taking homemade bread, baked by students and staff, with him when he traveled. He would give it to supporters to show appreciation for their contributions. Thus, the tradition of French Camp bread began. We now bake over 15,000 loaves each year. Some are served in the Council House Restaurant, some are sold on-site, but most are mailed as gifts. Now, the bakery produces white bread and other flavors of sourdough and specialty bread along with jams and sauces. To complete your purchase, choose a giant cookie.
