The prices are higher than supermarkets and big box stores, but that is their sales model. Less customers in more remote areas who can't or don't want to travel to superstore. Broad choices and convenience are big customer favorites. And lately I've been seeing DGmarkets popping up. I think that will definitely make customer reconsider driving farther for crowded stores and longer lines. If the prices were lowered, I think they would become the majority's first choice for groceries and they will probably pick up other items that you typically don't see at grocery stores. I'll try them for a while! 😃
