“Everything was amazing. The lady who checked us in was so nice and kind to my hubby and I. Special shout out to Cynthia Lesure! Her warmness and kindness were so refreshing and needed more than she knows.”

“Im giving 4.5 star overall, based on our own needs (including pet-friendly, otherwise husband wont travel w/o his pups) and experience.

The local water is a slight yellow-brown, tested often and safe to drink, we were told. That said, we picked up a couple jugs of water at store.

The rooms were basic, no real closet, but a curved hanger bar section and the opposite wall had five 3” deep hooks similar to display hooks at a store. The rooms and bedding were clean! Outlets for charging gadgets

Husband is veteran, we got a good discount as long as we booked 2 queen beds vs a king. We were in town for a reunion for JSA (Korea) vets.

Husband also hung out w buddies a bit at their hotel which was NOT pet friendly. He said that part of town was somewhat rough/run-down. A late night curfew was in place, we learned, after there was a local shooting of a Baylor football player who had come home to visit.

So we were glad we stayed where we did, and kept an eye out. Husband and i are from big cities in Ca, so we always watch our surroundings anyway. Our grounds had considerable grassy areas for pups to exercise, a doggie poo disposal station w bags on n either end of bldg, and some nice shrubs.

The staff was friendly and helpful, i only remember Rhonda and Kaylah’s names, but everyone was guest-focused., which is very important to us!

One thing, i urge mgt to please fix the entry door in back asap so ppl can swipe their card for entry. It might have just broken, an employee let me in.

Breakfast had a good variety including some kind of eggs, and sausage, daily. The bread toasting machine wasnt working for other guests, i didnt use it though.

I did use the treadmill and it was fine.

Overall, it was a very good stay for the price and we made use of pretty much all the offerings.
The 24 hour coffee svc in lobby was good too. I understand theres jjst one microwave, its in the check-in/ hospitality area. Theres a pool table in use. A signreminded guests of quieter hours from 10pm to 8am ir something like that. Ive slept in some terribly noisy places, this place was fairly quiet most the time.

If you go to Greenville its a good place to stay, about 2 mi from convention ctr, but away from downtown which we appreciated.

Thank you,
