Brought my car bc I had a shift solenoid issue. You would think these guys being transmission experts would be able to fix a simple issue. They claimed they replaced the part but couldn’t figure out why the issues persisted. Don’t bring your car here! This place is very sketchy and the fact that they couldn’t figure out a transmission issue when that’s all they do says a lot!

The man I spoke to was very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns. While he was unable to fit me in their schedule(my time restraint), he was able to steer me in the right direction. Big thanks to Buchanan's.

I had an option of rebuilt or new transmission. They rebuild the burnt out transmission only to fail after warranty expired. The fluid wasn't red but black with metal shavings throughout transmission. They made more money on rebuilding than to sell me a new one. It hurts because I cannot afford anymore money to fix while taking radiation therapy for cancer.

Transmission in my 2019 Silverado went out after 112,000 miles. Coincidentally right after the GM required Transmission flush and filter change. Dealer wanted $8000 to replace it. Buchanan's replaced it for $4800. Did a great job and was easy to deal with. Hope I don't need another Transmission in another vehicle but if I do I'll definitely be back. Great people and great job.

The crew there are honest, efficient, and knowledgeable. Did extremely quick and quality work. It ended up costing much less that I had expected. Great work.

My experience at Buchanans is nothing but remarkable. I’ll say great customer service. Anyone needing transmission work l’ll recommend to this shop. I do a lot of traveling and exit 38 on I-10 in Mississippi is the right place for your transmission needs.

Call around to other businesses because he is over charging people I called and asked how much would he charge to put on a shift solenoid which the part is 24 dollars and he said over 1,000 and I called down town service and they said 150 his pricing wasn’t sounding right

We were in the area just for a night and our transmission went out. Luckily we were just a few miles from this shop. His price was reasonable, work was quick and excellent.
