I got to my vehicle and looked over the receipt to find i was over charged for some items. Shelf said a dollar and was charged dollar fifty so shelf price doesnt reflect actual costs so be mindful when at the register

Working in a retail store can absolutely be one of the hardest things that a person can do! Actually not everyone is cut out, To do this type of work! I promise, that I’m not picking on Dollar General’s! But every time I show up at a store that I don’t normally shop at, because it’s not close to where I live, I see things like these pictures that I have left, that absolutely doesn’t make any sense! To begin with it is a lawsuit waiting to happen! Now don’t get me wrong, I know it is hard working Trying to get the stock up on the shelves and wait on the customers too! But there is absolutely no excuse for The isles of the store to be crowded with so much stuff, that you can’t even walk down Them to get what you’re looking for! I personally don’t like Walmart, because of their business practices, and when Dollar General started building stores, 2 to 3 miles apart from each other, it was to help take out, Walmart! And it actually started working for a while, because Walmart started building tiny Walmarts! But if you can’t shop at Dollar General because of carts Full of merchandise that The employees are trying to put on the shelf, Walmart, Will win! There is a new manager at the Walmart on Highway 53 and he has changed the store around and it looks good and is stocked well! If you don’t want to trip and break your hip, check out the highway 53 Dollar General! I think you’ll be very pleased! JIMMY MCNEELY 🍅🍅🍅

Place needs a good cleaning, shelves need to be restocked, and carts are sitting around full of inventory. The old saying check out the dollar general store, if clean and tidy it's a good neighborhood......

This lady walked in the door and went straight to the register while I was about to unload my cart onto the counter. The cashier didn't say anything to her about cutting line. She bought a pack of gum to get cash back and I had about a 75.00 in my cart to purchase. I don't know if he was scared of her or what. I left the cart sitting there and called them. It is ridiculous that I had been standing in line about 10 minutes, was at the counter and he let's her butt. I had to back up so she could get there or I was gonna hit her with the cart. I don't have time to be treated with such rudeness when I am spending my money there.

The store itself is fine. No issues other than most times it’s not stocked. However, that’s the least of my problems. The staff here, particularly two females are so rude and condescending. I live off Robinson Rd so I stop here probably 3-4 times a week. And Ive had multiple issues with staff being rude to either myself or witnessing it with some other customer. The (what I assuming) assistant manager actually yelled and snapped an employee in front of a very long line for doing basically what she had instructed him to do. I felt bad for him because his shoulders sunk and you could tell he was embarrassed. No one in line was impressed. While I completely understand and agree that customer service as whole has taken a decline everywhere, speaking poorly of a customer who just walked out to other customers is another issue. Coupled with the fact that these two always seem to be having a bad day. Today I stopped by to purchase a few things and there was a sale sign in front of the items, cool, I didn’t come there for the sale but saving a couple bucks sounds good. I get to the register, everything rings up at full price, I mentioned the sign. The girl helping us who was very friendly went to check the sign. She comes back with the signs and says the sale has ended…. Ok, no biggie. I’m not making a fuss. The other girl who my cashier was speaking to says something about I had to go into the app and do something to get the discount. I say it’s not worth to do all that, I’m holding the line up at this point for a few dollars. I pay the full price and go to walk out when I hear the other cashier who I had ZERO interaction with start talking about me and how “I’m just like everyone else and don’t read the fine print”. I almost walked back in and said something to her but, again, it’s not worth it. Hopefully, someone can correct this behavior before it becomes a bigger issue. Not everyone is willing to give grace as I did.

Gave 3 stars because they don't have baskets. Staff is friendly. Can't buy big items, unless you carry them in your arms.

Self serve register hung up so not worth it to use if you're buying mucinex or some other meds that need permission. But I guess worth it if not. Clean friendly store.
