Stay far away from this shady place. I’m a Hertz gold member so you make your selections online and just go pickup your car. The agent added LDW insurance that I did not agree to and Hertz is refusing to me $250!

Be very careful when you book a car in Gulfport because some of the Hertz locations are off airport and it's very difficult to tell that when you're booking your car. You are then forced to take an Uber to get your car. The taxi service in Gulfport is unique if you get certain drivers

This is by far the worst experience I have had with a rental car. I picked up my vehicle at 430 on Friday. Not even in the car an hour and realized the car was full of ants. I have a 1 year old and thankfully I didn’t put him in the backseat and let him ride with my mom til I got home. I called hertz and they stated nothing they can do until Saturday. I can drop the vehicle at the hertz location as they open at 8am. Mind you I do not live here and have to leave Sunday for work. I call 813 Saturday morning and no answer so I looked on their website to see that they are closed. I called hertz customer service back and they tell me there is nothing I can do I’m stuck with an infested vehicle until Monday. I asked if I could drop the vehicle off and leave the key in the dropbox and they told me that’s abandonment of the vehicle because the car is through an insurance claim. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told theirs is no supervisor. At this point I was irritated and some words were exchanged and I was then able to speak to the supervisor. I did apologize to the agent because at the end of the day I understand it’s not their fault as I have been in customer service. Almost 2 hours later still on the phone trying to figure this out! I’m just dropping the vehicle off and leaving the key in their Dropbox because I am over it at this point! I wish it would allow me to upload the video of the ants because this was ridiculous. So the one star rating is for hertz in general.

Rented a car yesterday and the staff at this location is amazing! Even before I booked the car, I called and the lady I spoke with was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the first car so I called today and was offered a replacement immediately. These 2 ladies are an asset to your company. I'd use Hertz again just because of them!

Make damn sure you have a major credit card. $500.00 plus rental price will be charged upon pick up. It's not the employees fault, they just work there so don't get upset with them.Employees are great!

The workers here were amazing and the price was excellent for the days I needed to rent the vehicle. However the car that I rented had an unusual smell kind of like covered up cigarette smoke and it had been wrecked because the front bumper had clips in it to keep it on. The headlights did not go to the bright position even though the indicator on the dash showed that it was but the lights never changed. Therefore driving it dark in country back roads was difficult to see with no bright lights. The heated seat button for the passenger side lit up it did get warm my mother said but the lights went out like it wasn't on anymore and I had not turned it off. I advised the lady when I returned the car of all of these issues and she said she would document it. I also advised the worker when I picked up the car about the bumper he says he knew it was like that and he had clips in it to hold it on but you could still see the separation therefore I took a picture of it. Other than the vehicle itself with all the issues the staff was outstanding.

if I could give zero stars I would!! I needed a rental to go pick up my sick mother Texas. I booked the rental, paid in full, show up to pick the car up to be told that because I do not own a major credit card I cannot pick the car that I've already paid for up. this is now requiring I leave my cancer stricken wife at home alone with my 4 children with no vehicle. I'm 35 years old, clean driving record and an officer in the military. yet none of that was good enough to allow me to rent a vehicle.

Run fast the other way!!!!!!!!!! Thief's and conmen alike!!!! This store gave me an empty truck and charged me for something that I didn't use!!!! Why is this the second time I've filled this out. hertz are you Erasing people post now...

If you found this review, hello and good day to you. If your day is not so good then get a rental car from this location it will certainly increased your days demise. The manager Miles will tell you everything you want to hear and you will have to find out later that it was somply billowing smoke coming from his lungs. If yoi haven't tried Billy Bob rental company or literally anyone else first your are doing yourself a disservice. Try asking a friend..hell even an enemy to borrow their car before renting from hertz. This location's customers service is non existent as is their corporate response based in India or somewhere.

Criminal1 Book a car pay in full2 show up can’t use that card pay again ( receives different car then what was booked, booked small suv Ford Focus or similar is given a Chevy spark which in their own website is listed as a small economy car and is told yeah sorry same thing)3 pays again gets charged now paying for the car twice4 gets given number to call to get refund calls number “issues refund” takes 7-10 business days5 wait those business days still no refund calls again sorry we never got that request ( I guess hertz just thought oh how nice of me to pay twice)6 still waiting for refund on the first purchase paid for the card twice took my money in less then one day flat car has been returned for two weeks still have a pending charge on credit card7 criminalPictures below of small suv “Ford Focus or similar” last I checked this exact car is their small economy aka a skateboard
