“2/27/2026 - Stopped in to see what they had in stock. Had been looking on FB Marketplace for some furniture. The stress dealing with messaging and waiting on people to respond and had someone agree on coming to pick up some stuff. They wanted a deposit a few days before. A deposit to someone I’ve never met or know? No way. Anyway, got very discouraged. I’ve known about Youth For Christ thrift store, but just hadn’t thought about them. Went for a drive to run an errand and it dawned on me about Thrift Mart. Would like to thank Brad and his crew: Daphne, Ginger, Chris and another young man I didn’t get his name for a job well done. They were very helpful, and answered the questions I had. Again, this is a “high five” to these folks. I will be back for other things I need in the future as my 1st choice for used furniture and avoid FB marketplace. Also, they deliver for a nominal and fair rate.

In the end, was able to find the few things I needed immediately at a fair price. Some of the furniture was Basset, Ashley and Broyhill.

“I’ve never been to this goodwill. This was my first visit. I traveled from Hattiesburg, so I had to go to the bathroom. I had to wait on an escort to go to the back where the bathroom is. That was interesting experience. I found a few things. Checked out an then went next door to check out the outlet. There were people rummaging around the wooden bins, like children in a sandbox. It was awkward. I didn’t find much. But that’s just me. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Everything was priced reasonably.”
