Clean, friendly grocery store. One of my favorites. (Gulfport). I have never been in the one in Biloxi. Great in-store specials.

My question is Why can you only buy one large order of sides? I guess it's inconvenient to give the customer what they want. Love the chicken. But the sides issue doesn't work for a big group of people. Won't be back. Too bad.

The food giant on HWY 49 is the bomb, they have everything you can possibly want at a reasonable price. Now the one in Biloxi needs some serious help. Please don't buy any meat or poultry from this place

Let's talk about poor management. A company that values a dollar more than human life. This company is considered essential and is remaining open during the covid-19 pandemic. This is understandable, however they insist on working senior employees 40 hours plus knowing they are at higher risk. My sister works here, she is 64 years old and in poor health as it is. She is working full time and they refuse to let her off/lay her off until things return to normal. Keep in mind they have plenty younger employees working only a few hours per week. I think this ridiculous. I spoke to the manager today concerning this issue and he refused to give her time off even after I told him she'd most likely die if contracted the virus. His response was "well.. I can't do it. I have a business to run here. " Keep in mind she makes $8/hour. Also keep in mind that the Biloxi fire department shops there on a daily basis and has had 3 confirmed cases of covid-19. I generally enjoy shopping here but will not under any circumstance shop here again in the future knowing how little this company values its employees and just human life in general. Yes, I agree, they have a business to run providing essential goods during a difficult time. I also understand that taking care of fellow humans is more important than a sales bonus check for the manager. I hope anyone with a parent or grandparents still in the work force agrees and decides to boycott this establishment. The owners and managers of food giant should be ashamed of themselves.

My husband and I went to Food Giant this week to finish stocking for the recent health crisis. We have been regular shoppers in this store for many years. A man standing in the isle saw us looking in the meat department and asked what we were looking for. When told hamburger (which was totally out) he said that there would be a truck in about two hours with 2,000 pounds of hamburger on it. We were surprised but I went back in three hours too get some hamburger. A man in the meat dept came out when i rang the bell and said "I HOPE you are NOT going to ask me if we have meat because you can see we do not". Taken aback I explained what the other man had told us earlier. The meat dept man said "That was probably the manager. He thinks that is funny". I told an employee on the way out about the incident as a matter of record. That, for all interested, is a description of my VERY LAST TRIP EVER to Food Giant. Patricia Madison Gulfport,MS
