Area 51 ice cream is definitely a step above store bought and even chain ice cream. The creamy texture is perfect, and the flavors are unique. I wish the seasonal goat cheese and blackberry cobbler were around longer.

They have a nice selection of gourmet ice creams. It's a nice environment, parking is convenient. I got a taste of my wife's double dip. She had a scoop of brown sugar coconut and a scoop of salted caramel. It almost made me give up my diet. Sorry no pictures... the ice cream didn't stand a chance. If you are craving ice cream give stop in.

This is hands-down, the best ice cream in Hernando in my opinion. You can also get ice cream not just in scoops or on a Cone but you can also get it to go in a pint.

First time that I have been here. I went on my sister and brother-in-law's date night with them, and we went here after dinner. This place was fabulous! Kind of pricey but it was good. Would definitely recommend this to people. Great family place.

Stopped in with my son after soccer & we really enjoyed it. Their flavors are very good, I loved the bourbon butter pecan. I stole a few bites of his cookies & cream, it was amazing as well. Go give it a try.
