Our animals love going to Open Arms Animal Hospital for boarding. They get all their shots and nail trimmings there.

I called and made an appointment, and told them I have to be out by 11 for work.. well what do you know I was not and had to leave my dog there. When my mother went to pick her up and they wanted payment but they hadnt even done any treatment! Had to drop her off again the next day, and they call me and suggest heart worm test, so they could give her a pill she needed with or without test!! so I just told them to wrap up everything they have already done, and the script flipped so quickly!! The lady started calling me honey and told me my dog has been very sick for years, and she has not!! she has an ear infection, and whip worms and hook worms. so basically just needs to be dewormed. They wanted to do a heart worm test and shes going on 10 years old. I am done with this place!! very unprofessional, and rude!!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!!!!! This place is so nasty and it stinks terrible in there. The veterinarian and her staff are very rude and unprofessional. The whole building looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years...They don't care about your pet or your time. Trust me don't go there.

I used to love this place and use it exclusively, but due to the rudeness of the staff we will not be back. Dr Rickett is great, but I hope the rest of her staff find work in other fields.

If they won't work with the animal shelter to reunite a missing pet with their owner, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. So glad my dogs tags aren't registered there.

4/3/2021 - Open Arms closes at 1pm and I called at 12:15 pm. I just called Open Arms and spoke with the receptionist. I explained that our female dog had just slid across the floor and left blood. Our regular Vet was closed but they answered the phone and suggested I have her expressed. As this was blood I thought a vet should see her and saw good reviews for Open Arms. The receptionist said that they were not receiving any more animals today, however when I reiterated that there was blood on the floor she said that she would ask the vet. She came back to the phone and explained that the vet said no more animals today. The vets name is Dr. Rickett, just so everybody knows the name. I am not making any judgements but... Thanks for reading!

Took a cat to be neutered at 7:30 A.M. They said to pick him up at 5:15. They didn't release him until 5:45. My husband had somewhere he needed to be (and I had food in the oven). They had all day to do the paperwork but didn't do it until I got there. I was plenty f'ing mad. Also twisted my ankle on the way to my truck. Take a flashlight if you're going after dark because they apparently don't have a porch light.

Emma got so excited when the DR walked in. She got in her high pitch squeel and hurried over to greet her. I love our vet.
