I always find it difficult to find a good hairdresser. I was new to the Jackson Mississippi area when I stumbled upon Barnettes Salon. I was given a haircut appointment with Amelia. I was thrilled with my first haircut. I could say she has given me the best haircut than any other hairdresser I've had. I've since gone back a couple times, and have been completely satisfied with Amelia and her services. Unfortunately, I have since moved out-of-state. I am very sad to lose her as my hairdresser. I highly recommend her to anyone. I will miss her and her fantastic cuts!

Their reviews are fake. They get the negative ones taken down. People only go because it seems like they're highly rated on google. They have ruined a lot of people's hair and refuse to refund when they do.

Amelia was the best hairstylist I have ever used. She captured the look I wanted perfectly, listened to my concerns and gave me amazing tips on how to maintain the health of my hair and how to style it. I truly appreciate this salon so much! The service was outstanding and everyone was very kind. But more importantly, they respected my religious restrictions and created a divider to allow me to get my hair done. Moreover, they even had females holding the towel up when they shampooed my hair in case anyone can see from afar. I truly appreciate them so much and will definitely be returning. I had brain surgery which necessitated my surgeon shaving one side of my head.Then my remaining hair began to break off.Taylor has been an absolute angel working with me as my hair has grown back in.It has been 1 year and I feel pretty thanks to Taylor working with my growing-in hair as well as what we were able to salvage.Service: Hairstyling
