Great place with great people. If you have issues, it is because you have unreasonable expectations (which seem to be the norm in this city) can't expect low payments if you have lousy credit.

DO NOT GO HERE THEY TRIED TO SELL US TWO HONDAS WITH BAD ROTORS ON THEM THEN STOPPED OUR TRANSFER ON OTHER CARS FROM ANOTHER LOCATION. IF ONE SALES PERSON DID US WRONG THE MANAGER SHOULD HAVE STEPPED IN TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. THE SALESMAN JAMES STATED THEY SELL PEOPLE BAD CARS. DONT GO TO CARMAX IN JACKSON. CLOWNS.

I had a great experience at CarMax. I started off working with Charles, over the phone, to set up all of the paper work. Then, Gabiey helped me complete everything in-person! Best costumer service ever! 5/5 recommend!

CJ was very unhelpful honestly. I traveled 9 hours away and she didn’t try to work with me at all.!!! But the next day texted me asking if I still wanted the suv just so she could sell it to the next person when I paid to have the car shipped down there! She was beyond unhelpful.!

The person who helped me wasn’t helpful at all. Didn’t tell me I would have to be the one to bring my title information if said I’d be shipped my registration information. Didn’t fill out my title form. And while calling in the person I needed help with to get this situated hung up on me and when I called back had an attitude. Still in the process of trying to get this situated and they are really no help.

Second time shopping through Carmax, it's understandable that when shopping across multiple stores sometimes missed communications happen. There were some issues with our vehicle that should have been taken care of before the car was sold - but Carmax came through and fixed all of the issues.4 and a 1/2 stars, will probably shop again if and when we need another vehicle. Great selection, friendly staff, awesome air conditioner.

Usually I don’t have any issues but this time I’m pissed why does it take 2 whole weeks to ship a vehicle from Georgia to Jackson. CarMax needs to learn how to deal locally instead of other states that is ridiculous. And the personnel are not a damn bit of help I could walk there and pick it up quicker.

We submitted a car for sale online and went to Carmax with our estimate. We were assisted promptly and our car inspected. The estimate was approved and then we completed the paperwork. SO easy. Almost felt TOO Easy. But check has been deposited and we are happy with our experience.

WORST service ALL AROUND! I found my own car before went in & asked to get it moved to local Carmax. I asked BEFORE tan my credit- how much is percentage rate for financing b/c I have over 800+ credit score & told me 2.3% so I said ok, run it. My car was supposed to be transported there a in a couple of days and I had to keep calling the sales associate to check on where my car was for 2 weeks, he NEVER called to update me why was taking so long & finally said would refund my transfer fee.My husband was in hospital w/ stage 4 cancer while I was trying to get all this done & it did not get in till late one evening & when finally finishing all the paperwork at nine in the evening, the percentage rate was like 28%! I said-WAIT! I SPECIFICALLY asked about what percentage rate I would get w/ my down payment & my over 800+ credit score & this was NOT it!He said it would only have been the 2.3% if I would have paid it almost off entirely. And they already hauled my car off the premises on a truck out of town. I had been there almost 3 hours by that time & needed to get back to my husband in the hospital.I ended up getting a loan at the bank w/ better interest rate & paid off at Carmax. They LIE STRAIGHT to your face! Do NOT buy fm them! I did all the work & this was the worst experience!And then I just tried to get a replacement title b/c they never sent me mine 3 years later & they still had a lien on it & I had to wait 2 weeks to sell it! When I called them at the title place, they said it would be cleared in a week to 10 days.How the BETTER Businesses Bureau has not shut them down I have NO idea.

I bought a 2014 Kia Sedona. Had it less than a week and my air conditioner went out, sliding doors would not open or lock. Trunk would not lock. 3 months later still issues with sliding door. When had oil change found that my airfilter had never been changed and there was corrosion on the wiring to my turning light. Spoke with manager and they seem to not want to take responsibility over issues with van.When you purchase a vehicle at carmax you are to have a 125 point inspection done on vehicle which would show these things that I am now having to replace and fix.To much going on with van when I have only had it maybe 3 or 4 months.

Went in on 08/19/23 and a lady checked me in and was very polite. She told me feel free to go out to the lot and the next available sales person will be with me. Crazy how I wondered the entire lot looking at cars and not sales person ever surfaced. There were a few other people roaming the lot and not one sales person was out there. We all know how hot it's been lately so I was just sweating with questions about cars with nobody to answer, set up a test drive or help with a purchase. Eventually I just gave up and decided to leave. Upon walking back through the inside there were 2-3 people who seem to be salesmen just in there. One was cleaning their area but nobody tried to see if I'd been helped or anything. I walked out the door and left. So did 3 other people I seen out there. I will try again tomorrow (technically today) because I seen two suv I want to check out further. If I get the same treatment I'm not purchasing anything regardless of what they have on the lot, I'll just go back to Gray Daniels Monday and get the SUV I seen there.
