Disappointed with the lack of communication and follow-through. There’s no active phone number on the website, so I requested a call. While I did receive one call, the person never followed up and did not answer when I returned her calls. When I finally emailed again, I was brushed aside and told they had only received “one email” from me ignoring the fact that their own employee failed to follow through.
Because the date had already been filled by someone else shortly before, my ability to book was treated as if it wasn’t their concern. That kind of treatment makes it hard to consider them for any future business.

The Plant Venue was my absolute dream venue. The space is SO gorgeous, and the staff is so great and so professional. Their website answered most of my questions, but when I had to email the response time was so quick. We opted for a DIY wedding and they were so understanding and helpful. Everything turned out beautifully and I couldn’t be more happy with this venue.

Went to a wedding and it was such an elegant and beautiful place. The layout let's you do so much. They had violins and then later a live band...two stages & and easy parking. Space was given for the cutest coffee truck. Staff was wonderful.

We had the pleasure of hosting our daughter’s wedding reception at the breathtaking Plant Venue and we couldn't be more thrilled with our choice. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were captivated by its natural beauty and timeless charm.
The venue is nestled amidst the industrial park in the Fondren area of Jackson, creating a classic yet unique atmosphere. The enchanting atrium added a touch of magic to the moment we arrived. And the well-maintained foliage and open-air courtyard provided a picturesque backdrop for the reception as Brooklyn & Brandon danced the night away under the disco balls and stars to the smooth sounds of the Compoztionz band. The guests couldn't stop raving about the stunning views and how seamlessly the natural surroundings blended with the joyous occasion.
The staff at The Plant were an absolute delight to work with. From the initial planning stages to the day of coordination, they were professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our wedding day perfect. Special thanks to the event coordinator, Coretta, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was executed flawlessly. Her expertise and calming presence were invaluable throughout the entire process.
The indoor atrium space exuded warmth and sophistication. With its high ceilings, draping plants, and elegant decor set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. The catering team, Donna’s Catering, from Brookhaven surpassed our expectations with a menu that combined culinary excellence with creative flair. And the sleek and elegant bride’s cake, adorned with calla lilies, was executed perfectly by Ellen Baxter of Ellen’s Cookies. And its flavor is still unmatched…. The groom’s mother created the perfect combination of his favorite things for the groom’s cake, complete with an actual life-size burger made from cake to play homage to his childhood nickname “Burger”. Our guests are still talking about the delicious food and the impeccable service.
What sets The Plant apart is not just its physical beauty but the attention to detail and the personalized touch that the staff brings to every event. They truly understand the significance of weddings and go the extra mile to create a memorable experience for the couple and their guests.

I fell in love with The Plant Venue the moment I walked in the door. I scheduled a tour with Ansley, and she is a delight. As she showed me each room, she told me the history that went into each room’s name. I especially loved the private rooms. They are perfect for private parties. I also loved the big open space with the beautiful plants…..it overlooks the courtyard.This is the perfect venue for any special event, especially a wedding! I cannot say enough about this venue and its owners. We rented The Sunset Lounge for rehearsal dinner and the entire venue for our daughter’s wedding. Each space within the venue is unique and thoughtfully tailored for its purpose, and all filled with live plants and greenery. The Retreat was the perfect guy’s hangout while getting ready. The Parlor was ideal for the bridal suite with plenty of seating and large mirrors for hair and makeup. The Courtyard was absolutely beautiful for the ceremony and The Atrium was the party place for dining and dancing the night away. The venue owners were so helpful, answering all our questions touring us around as we brainstormed the space. They were hands on throughout the entire weekend, making sure we had everything we needed. When we struggled with setup, the owner jumped right in to help us get it done. They helped turn our daughter’s dream into reality. If you are looking for a unique event space, I highly recommend this venue.

STRONG NO!!! The owner is really rude and was yelling and screaming in front of guests, women and kids! Really scary!! The place will be overlooked because of the owners scary behavior.

Terrible place to book at. Kids wandering into the back and the owner came out irate screaming at the kids forcing them back into the main area. I understand some areas were off limits but if it wasn’t a safety concern, you definitely shouldn’t scream at kids or make them feel like they did something terrible. Speak to children the same way you would like someone to speak to yours. I would advise black people to spend their money elsewhere!! He has no patience and doesn’t understand how to de escalate situations. He wants our money but we are not truly welcomed!

If I could leave 0 stars... I would!! I recently had an event there and everything really went well until the end. While setting up and the actual event, I didn’t really have much interaction with the owners. So I didn’t initially get to see who I REALLY booked with. After the event, while my family and I were cleaning up. There was a small (level 1) disagreement between the officer and someone over how much was owed for security. The officer was there less than 3 hours but lied and said he was there for 5. I IMMEDIATELY felt this was unnecessary and offered to pay whatever amount was owed just to calm everything down. Some how the owner Travis Crabtree involved himself in the dispute and it just became worse. All I know is that I was the one who wanted nothing but peace but somehow Travis Crabtree was in my face yelling “YOU WENT OVER THERE AND MADE THINGS WORSE. ALL YALL DID WAS MAKE THINGS WORSE”. I was so confused and hurt. He continued to yell “ YOU HAVE 20 MINUTES TO GET OUT OF HERE AND YOU AREN’T WELCOME BACK!” Yelling all this in front of family, guests and kids. It was so sad and humiliating. Even if you had an issue with one person, why would you scream that at everyone? Even the kids? I waited til everything was cleaned up and I was the last person there to explain how I was the one who paid for venue and was really hurt by his words. He just made an excuse how some things got said while he was heated. All I really wanted was an apology but all he said was "So we're all good?" That’s it!! These people take your money and really don’t want you there. The smallest hiccup, their mask falls and you see who they really are. So no I will never book there again and will not recommend it to anyone else because Travis Crabtree’s ego was too big for to just apologize when he were wrong. Please take your money else where. Its not even worth it and its in a terrible area. So now instead of thinking how happy my family was to be together, I will remember someone scream and belittling us in front of children, guest and everyone. So thanks for the memory.

The Plant is such an amazing space to hold any intimate event. Ansley and her team are very communicative and answered any questions I had which made the process easy from beginning to end.The venue already has amazing natural decorum and can be easily transformed to meet your needs.Daydreaming of my next event already.

This space is absolutely STUNNING! It is in beautiful shape and has awesome management. We just threw our 10 year high school reunion here and working with Coretta was an amazing experience. Coretta is responsive, professional, and easy going which made our whole planning experience a breeze. She was very knowledgeable about vendors, food and beverage, and event planning. She helped make our evening one all of us will remember for the next 10 years and beyond. Thank you, Coretta!

Loveddd this venue. I'd definitely utilize it in the future.. I performed here for an awards ceremony and I really liked how dope the space was.
