I have one storage Max unit near downtown Clinton and needed one more. I chose to go to North Clinton because it was substantially less. I met the manager, Austin at hwy 80 and made arrangements and reservations for $125 per month total cost. My Pod was delivered on 5-9-25 and I gave Austin's assist. (his day off) my card info. My Pod door would noy open, so PODS returned unit to their warehouse. I informed the assist. I would not be moving in that day. The Pod was redelivered 5-14 and a 2nd pod delivered 5-16. My move in date was 5-17 for both units. I asked for two units next to each other and I was told same price with one unit for $1.00 for first month but that only applied to 1 unit, not the 2nd unit right next door??? Then I was told I owed insurance money and my cost went from $125 to $145 for each unit. Then I was told that $1 for first month only applied to the days remaining that month so I paid $1 for 13 days, not 30 day
(1-month). My review is I had a terrible experience and communication with Manager Austin. I feel he misled me the entire process. Unfortunately, I took him for his word, and I had nothing in writing and all my processions are unloaded in his units. My Bad. Beware of what you are told and get everything in writing upfront before you take procession of storage units.
Don't even trust the manager.

Awesome customer service. And a lot more secure than the other storage places in the area. Definitely recommend. Cheaper than the other places too….

I've had two year-long experiences with this storage facility and it is still the best experience I've ever had! The staff is so helpful and understanding. If I need a storage again, I will for sure choose this place!

The office staff were fast, friendly and customer oriented. The facility was clean, safe & secure. The rates are reasonable & most often you can catch a special discount. Therefore, I highly recommend StorageMax Clinton

My family and I just relocated from Long Beach California. We drove our U-Haul across country and needed storage immediately. We found Storage Max on Google. We went to one location and they didn’t have our unit size so she called around and searched and found a location that had what we needed. The application process was seamless. I filled out everything online and went into the location to pay. I was given a code to enter gate and put in auto pay so i don’t have to remember to pay! Lovely service at all locations! Very helpful. Well recommend for sure!!!!!!

I have used Storage Max Clinton North before and a friend who has a unit there told me to try using this one again.She said there were many changes..It now has a new manager,new paint,new lights ,better saftey.I decided to try it out and so glad I did and my friend was so correct.I really like the price.Mr Van is always accessible.My unit was clean and the location is great. Mr.Van showed me several units until I found the perfect unit.I am so glad I listen to my friend and Storage Max has made these good changes.

Great facility and great management! I used it over the summer to store things for my college dorm. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a safe place to keep any of your furniture, electronics, etc.
