I wish I could put 0 stars. Terrible customer service. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. you will not have a car and won’t be notified until THE DAY BEFORE/OF your rental. They don’t accommodate you at all, lady at the desk was VERY rude. This place needs to be shut down, it’s pointless to be open if they claim “customer service can’t actually see our car availability” then why have customer service??? there’s not a direct number for them on the website AT ALL. Terrible experience I do not recommend them at all. IF YOU DONT HAVE THE CARS IN ADVANCED DONT LET US BOOK ON THE WEBSITE ITS SIMPLE. WAISTING PEOPLES TIME!!!!!!!!

No rental cars available even with a reservation. The lady at the counter claimed to have called some random number the night before. Staff didn't care about the situation or leaving customers stranded.

Never have cars. They dont call you and tell you that after you have paid for the car in advance. You are inconvenienced because of lack of communication. Send an email or something. Buy more cars or go out of business.

They charged $400 for an external car wash, even though the car was returned clean. Please check your bill and dispute these absurd charges.

Thrifty did not honor the reservation at the branch, even though our reservation was confirmed by Thrifty withn 7 hours of the rental time. The airport branc told me - "no cars, we do not care!" They were giving cars to those who pre-paid. But there was NO mentioning on their website that prepayment was the only way to get a car! And they did not even bother to offer to mitigate the situation in any way, nor to warn us beforehand, nor even to apologize!!! When I showed them a confirmation email from Thrifty 7 hours prior, they just said it had come from the central office, and the central office did not know what is happening at the local branches!!! NEVER deal with Thrifty! They are thrifty only at your expense!

I was notified by text message that my prepaid Priceline "guaranteed" reservation was canceled because they were completely sold out of cars. I called the airport rental counter three times and got no answer. When I called the toll free number to verify my reservation, it was confirmed. I was told to disregard the text message. I was reassured that they had a car for me at the Jackson airport location. When I arrived to pick up my car, I was told they were indeed sold out. I was also informed that Thrifty customer service does not know how many cars are at that location. Curious. That seems like data that should be available and shared within any company. What are they doing?!?!

They will not have a car to fulfill your reservation. This is the second time in less than three weeks that I have had a reservation and showed up with no car at JAN. They won’t call you, they won’t email you to let you know they oversold. The only way you will know is when you show up. Thrifty corporate will not help you either. The sweet ladies at the desk try to help the best they can. But I will not rent from them again.

I rented a car online for a monday afternoon and it didnt let me pay upfront. It said to pay the day of which was more expensive. When I got to the counter no one was there and a lady from Hertz helped me and told me all reservations were cancelled and did not had any cars until Friday. I needed this rental to make it to my flight which I couldn’t. They never send an email or canceled my reservation by mail or call. I wasn’t the only one there. Really unprofessional bc irresponsible.

Had a reservation for 2 months and when we got to Jackson the guy at the counter said sorry we don't have any cars. We were left stranded! Relatives had to come get us from 2hrs away. Never rent from this company!!! I wish I could give them NO stars.

Couldn’t honor my reservation. No advance notice. And the least helpful customer reps I have ever encountered. Will NEVER use them again.

Our flight was late. The counter was closed up and wasn't able to pick up our car. We had our flight listed on our booking. We got to the counter 10 minutes after scheduled closing time. Had to rent from Avis at full counter price.

Made my reservation the day before at 8am for 10am the following day. I get to the desk at 9:30 to be told they don't take reservations less than 24 hours ahead. When i said it had been more than 24 hours she said nothing, not sorry... nothing. Never again Thrifty

This place has the worst service of all rentals, they cancel reservations with no notice. Now I'm stuck because they can't hold a reservation. Don't go with thrifty and don't let Expedia rob you

Very rude and unhelpful service. In my experience, even if you have a pre-paid reservation that you made months in advance, you are likely to be told that there are no cars available and then rudely turned away. This place has the worst customer service of any of the hundreds of car rental locations I have dealt with over the years.
