Had a package coming from Amazon and they decided for some unknown reason to use the post office when the Amazon facility is literally up the road from here and the neat little Amazon trucks drive by and deliver to my apartment complex all the time. I've never had any issues for Amazon deliveries before nor from any other carrier but this USPS facility here in Jackson MS. The package I was expecting was out for delivery, I even got notifications via email, text messages and oh yea INFORMED DELIVERY, which tells you that you have mail and/or packages coming to you based upon the ADDRESS on the mail piece. Here comes 6:35 pm (time they expected it to be delivered by) and it's not delivered as of yet. First thing that pops into my mind is that it's going to get marked as not deliverable because of the address on the label (been through this same issue many times with this local office) I wait and wait and at 8:09 pm I get a text message and email from USPS saying that the package was undeliverable due to an incomplete address on the label. Wait hold up, how's that possible??? You sent me a text, an email and notified me on my informed delivery that it was coming out. If you didn't know where it was going then I wouldn't have gotten any notification from the USPS at all. It all boils down to it being a holiday weekend and the lazy carrier didn't want to finish their route and so now they have marked it as undeliverable and are sending it back to the shipper. Knowing that this is a holiday weekend (memorial day) and the fact the office is closed on Saturdays and more than likely on Monday for Memorial Day I won't be able to catch it in time so that it won't be sent back and then I have to wait and blah blah blah. In my opinion this location is the worst in the United States.

Every time I come into this post office, I have a great experience. Lines can get long based on what time you go which is reasonable. The employees have always been personable, helpful, and quick in my experience.

I showed up literally at 5:01 and the guy refused to let me mail a letter, because as he stated “I wanna go home!” He told me the post office downtown is still open (5 miles away). I understand business hours, but really? It would literally have taken him 30 seconds of his time to mail my letter. The trove of negative reviews regarding ill trained, rude staff speaks volumes to post offices’ reputation. Your tax dollars hard at work for the public

Don't use business reply mail if this is your post office. They hold it and I have finally been able to prove it. This has been going on for years. I just received my BRM that is postmarked 10/12/22 and 10/14/22. They printed the summary on 10/20/22 and gave us the mail on 11/8/22. These are time sensitive pieces. Absolutely unacceptable! These pieces cost 3x as much as first class and take weeks to get to you (even when returned within Mississippi). I tried to call them, but nobody answered and there was no voicemail. It just disconnected.

My mail rarely gets delivered to my house. I've been up there numerous times, only to be told my address is in the middle of 2 routes. They never have any resolutions. Amazon, FedEx, etc. Packages get delivered but USPS mail does not and will be marked as delivered. Poor, poor service.

Awful. They constantly deliver the wrong mail to my address and they NEVER EVER EVER answer the phone so that I can ask them to please stop. I’m sick of grabbing the mail out of my box and having to go put it back in the “out” box because it’s not mine.I opened my door today and there’s a first class package on my doorstep that supposedly requires a signature and/or in hand delivery. It’s not mine. The name isn’t remotely similar to mine. The building number is wrong. Now, I have to waste my energy and MY TIME trying to get this package into the right hands. The postal worker should maybe hang up his cellphone and PAY ATTENTION to his work.

100% sure my mail carrier is stealing my mail. Just moved to my new address and never had this problem at previous residencies. Funny how Amazon, UPS, and FedEX mail that gets delivered at my doorstep always arrives but mail from USPS that is "delivered in mailbox" never actually is delivered. I've gone up there because they never answer the phone as well as filed a complaint with the national customer service, and surprise surprise still no resolution to my problem

I’ve had 5 packages marked as “delivered” but never showed up! Contacting them is no use. The most recent one says “returned to sender” due to incorrect address when I be sure to double check the addresses! a shame.
