Another review about Phyliss. No one can use this post office, she makes it her personal mission to never send a package ever. THE OTHER WORKERS THERE will tell you that you can take your package to another post office and they will send it. I do understand doing your job well and following rules, but I don’t understand how she gets away with not taking packages that UNITED STATES POST OFFICE has already sent you???? HOW IN THE HELL can USPS not send a box that THEYVE ALREADY SENT?? YOURE LABEL IS RIGHT THERE. It’s so frustrating and this community needs a post office they can actually rely on.

I live in the neighborhood and every single time I use this post office there is a problem. it is always Phyllis. she is deliberately rude, combative, will do very odd things like lock customers outside during business hours to mop the floors (today at 2:10pm).... an absoluteLu horrible employee. I usually now drive across town to literally any other post office ( and they are all well run and professional). Then I forget and try to use this one because it is so close. Clearly nothing will be done about this employee but something should. put her in the back at the very least. it should not take 30 minutes in a short line on the days she's not locking us out.

Every review on here is about PHYLLiS… It’s time for Louis: Postmaster General of the United States and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Postal Service or who ever needs to step in to make a change! It’s time for her to retire. Every visit she tells u how u should ship ur package. It’s sad that we have to go to other locations to avoid her. A 5 minute post office trips turns to 30 with her. Also any review that was posted and is not 1 star it was written by her. So reading those tells you the type of mouth she has. I recorded everything so definitely have all the proof I need!

After two years of *appalling* customer service experiences, I believe it's time to write a review. I can see I am not alone.I work in international customer service and I cannot believe Phyllis has been allowed to treat customers like this, for this long, especially after seeing that there are years of poor reviews and similar experiences being shared. It is uncharacteristic of me to write a poor review but I have been in shock over how my husband and I have both been treated at our neighborhood USPS by Phyllis over the years. It feels targeted. Based on other reviews, this is a known and ongoing issue and it is a shame that management would allow this kind of harassment, and insulting, and belittling behavior from a customer-facing employee. We have given this place and Phyllis numerous chances. She goes OUT OF HER WAY to be *aggressively* rude, finding any reason possible to berate and be ugly to customers. We've started driving out of our way to go to another location where we have had zero issues where the workers are so kind (shout out to Joey at USPS 1501 Jacksonian Plaza). We have always been kind and patient during our visits and the treatment we receive in return is unbelievable. Save yourself the time and trouble and find another store.PLEASE pay attention to the consistent reviews on Yelp and Google about their experiences here.

It is a shame that this is my neighborhood USPS store. My husband and I have given this place numerous chances. There's one lady (Phyllis) in particular who goes OUT OF HER WAY to be *aggressively* rude. It feels targeted. You should read the reviews on google too. We've started driving out of our way to go to another location where we have had zero issues. We have always been so kind and it's appalling the customer service at this location. We've consistently had negative experiences here for two years. Save yourself the time and trouble and find another store. I'm honestly in shock at how I've been treated here. Cutting me off when talking, raising her voice, refusing to take packages when the USPS store down the street takes them immediately. Today she told me to "go in the hallway cause there's no room for me" ... I was the only one in line? I work in international customer service and I cannot believe this lady has been allowed to treat customers like this for this long.

Everyone writing bad reviews about the lady at the desk is 100% accurate. It is like she is looking for any reason to make your transaction as difficult as humanly possible. If she is trying to make it so NO ONE in the area uses this location, she is excelling! I bet her fellow workers in the back love how she turns people away constantly. Do yourself a favor and drive 5 minutes to the next closest post office so you don’t leave with a headache and your mail she will refuse to handle. The Northview Dr location never gives me any trouble.

Judging by the multiple comments below. I assume her name was Phillis, the front desk lady. She is by far the rudest, slowest working and abrasive postal worker I have ever encountered. Everybody who has ever delivered or helped me with my mail has been extremely nice and helpful. She is not. Will not be coming back as long as she is at the desk.

I wish Phyllis worked for me so I could fire her. She is a rude, worthless employee who is paid and will retire from OUR taxes. Smug and completely unprofessional. She needs to be removed from duty.

The lady at the counter is not efficient at all. She forces you to buy packages that you don't need, and is not helpful in any way. She also bizarrely claims that the cell phones interrupt, so I had to set mine to airplane mode before she would continue. Please have her shifted or moved elsewhere; she is not capable of speaking with clients (or humans).

Phyllis is mentally unstable, abusive, manipulative and I believe finds joy in her postal power. She needs to be removed from this post and stop ruining this piece of historical fondren. She has harassed me multiple times to the point where i felt racially discriminated against and gaslighted. At first I thought her behavior was because she was OCD and aging but after several encounters it’s clear that she is a sick individual requiring professional help. They need to remove her from this position before this office is shut down due to lack of customers.

The lady running the office was extremely rude. Yelled at me as I was coming in because they had just mopped the floors at 11 on a Tuesday. So I stood outside and waited with 4 other people to get inside to get a stamp. She doesn't need to be at a job where you have to be social. Will never go back.

At this location, it’s Phyllis’ way or the highway... She will knit pick your package if it’s not to her standards and tell you that you need to repackage it. She will tell you your envelope isn’t closed all the way and needs to be taped(even though I sealed it normally). Took my packages and envelopes to the Post Office just up the road and didn’t have any issues whatsoever. Two times dealing with Phyllis this week and she just complained about my packages not being the packaged the right way. She just needs to lighten up a bit. Never have I had issues with a post office worker except for her.

The rudest workers!! If you don’t have customer service skills you shouldn’t be working with people!

Phyllis seems to love to scold you if you don’t do exactly what she wants. This is the second time she’s gotten on me. This time, I made the mistake of using the table in the office for about 2 minutes instead of the outside tables, which were full. There weren’t even that many of people in line abd I wasn’t in anyone’s way.
