The room was beautiful, very clean and close to everything which was great! Also loved the bar / restaurant. Fantastic service each time I went in and they were great with my gluten allergy, no cross contamination and I didn’t get sick once… they even have gluten free bread!! I can’t wait to visit again in April.

We didn't stay here, but we had a great dinner. Our server was friendly and timely. We highly recommend the buzzard dip!

We traveled down to Laurel like many fans of the Discovery Channel show “Home Town”. Staying at the Buzzard’s Roost was an amazing experience. It is everything portrayed online and more! Keri and her staff have done a wonderful job creating and maintaining an awesome boutique experience.Nearby activities: Scotsman is basically across the street. The Laurel Mercantile and Scent shop are around the corner. Every needs a lemonade from Hand+Made which is less than a block away.If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs…Laurel is known for its overnight train crossings. All part of the small town charm, but startling for some of us big city folk. ;o)Walkability: You couldn’t ask for a better location as everything is within walking distance.Food & drinks: The bar is amazing, staff is welcoming and very friendly.Noteworthy details: It is exactly as seen on the show “Home Town”

We ate at the roost and stayed at inn. Probably should give more like two stars. The service at bar was great, bartender very friendly, although very quiet night, a Monday. My husbands Mac and cheese was adequate, served in a small bowl with chunks of meat on top, making it hard to get to Mac. The Inn is where I have concerns. If you are going to price as high end, should not have garbage piling up in common area, hair on walls of shower, did not look like it had been cleaned well in a long time. Paint needs touch up, especially in bathroom. You cannot ride the ride forever of being on a tv show. Need to maintain. People’s $$$, not a novelty.

My friends and I came from out of town yesterday and stopped here for brunch. Two of us ordered the hot honey chicken and French toast and our chicken was completely raw. Not slightly undercooked, RAW. We showed our sweet server and she took it back and asked if we’d like something else instead. We opted for just another serving of the French toast but we honestly had lost our appetite. We also all got the bottomless mimosas and we felt like $18 for a mimosa with no other juice options was a bit steep but they were tasty nonetheless. We still paid for our food (and even got charged for our extra side of French toast, which was frustrating). I will say we loved the atmosphere and our server was sweet but the food was so so bad and we left so bummed…and hungry.

Came onto this little gem driving back to Atlanta from a business trip. The food, service and ambiance were great and I'm originally from New York ( not easy to ? please.) If you're in the area stop by this great spot.

We didn't stay there, but we have eaten there twice, and it was fantastic. The service is top notch. I recommend the wings, and the patty melt- which I'm hoping they turn into a panini. They also make incredibly good cocktails. I highly recommend stopping. You won't regret it.Food & drinks: See above!

Great service and food! I got the Hot Honey fried chicken and french toast. The French toast was really good! The chicken was tasty but more like something I'd have with a stir fry. They should try coating the chicken in something like ARs Southern hot Honey where it's sticky and delicious. And not like a spicy orange sauce i would have on my takeout. Other than that, the service is friendly and the hours are great!

Probably the best food we had in Laurel. Smaller portions but the food was amazing. I felt bad it was a Saturday night and not much business but there was a wait at the Loft and I feel like my meal here was better. Hope The Buzzards Roost does more to advertise itself so that it is able to stay in business.
