Be careful when you are booking a pod storage unit. There are a lot of extra hidden fees. I booked my pod for one month expecting the pod to be picked up after a month. when I was confirmed a date speaking to a representative she assured me it would be picked up on the 8th of July. They only do pick up on Mondays. I called pod and they told me I had to book the pickup myself online. This date was chosen on the phone prior to the pods arrival. Well I did just that, I booked the pick up online. The date within the month was not available and I got billed the entire following months fee. They picked up the pod six days later and billed me for the next entire month. Be very careful because the communication with their representatives does not reflect via email. I will not do this again.

The pod was extremely helpful to have sitting in my driveway during several months of renovations. Will not hesitate to use this company in the future if ever needed. I wasn’t there for the drop off but the deliver driver did a great job placing it with the instructions I gave him. The pick up driver, James Thompson, really nice guy. Pretty fast getting it out of my driveway and back onto the truck this morning. It was kind of cool to watch.

Definitely recommend PODS!!! Both pick-up and delivery drivers (James Thompson) were professional and easy to talk to. They answered all our questions thoroughly.
We also liked that they're was no rush to pack and load. We had a week on rack each end to load and unload.
If I were to ever move again I would use PODS!!

I had a very good experience. . . from the telephone booking to the delivery driver. The customer service was spot on, and my first experience using PODS was a good one. I will not hesitate to recommend PODS to my friends and associates.

DO NOT WHATEVER YOU DO USE THEM FOR MILITARY MOVES!!!!!
PODS failed to get the correct weight tickets for our military move. We contacted PODS and they gave us a case number but never contacted us back for any type of resolution like they said they would. It has been 2 weeks. Right now we are paying for the move completely out of pocket because of PODS mistakes. Which is over $4000. I'm now looking at having to call them again and make sure that this gets resolved. I am NOT paying for them to have made mistakes when they market to military families AND guaranteed me multiple times they would get and had gotten the weight tickets. Not impressed at all.
AGAIN, DO NOT USE THEM FOR MILITARY MOVES.

My Pods container was supposed to be stored in a climate controlled environment; however, when I received my Pod with all my furniture, it was all molded and mildewed. I noticed the storage container has no ventilation which contributed to the mold and mildew I’m sure. I’m completely dissatisfied with PODS overall. I have filed a claim but have not received anything to replace all my stuff that was ruined.

Using PODS to stage the sale of my home and to move to my new home out-of-state was so easy and convenient. I used PODS many years ago too for a home remodel and will always recommend them. They're very easy to work with and I find their rates affordable.
