I would encourage you not to rent from this location. My insurance company made my reservation to pick up a car first thing Monday morning. After dropping my truck off at a body repair shop, this location calls and says what time are you planning to pick up your car? I said I am on the way and will be there in 5 minutes. They tell me they don't have any cars available and would be that afternoon before I could get one. I call back at 2:30. still no cars available. I call the next morning at 8:30 and they said that they did not have any cars available and had 10 people waiting. I said I had reservations a day ago and been waiting for 24 hours! So my point is reservations mean nothing here. I tried twice at the Ridgeland office and they always had people waiting and said I would have to wait at the their location 45 minutes to find out if they have any cars available. Guess they cant count how many cars they have on their lot?

Had a flat in our rental. The staff here are polite, professional, efficient, and punctual. Clean building, friendly atmosphere.

Everyone is professional. They got me in a rental 1 day after wreck. I just can not understand how they are so slow. I was on hold over an hour. There is always only 1 person working. Don't be in a hurry when you come.Update-They would call and tell me "State Farm said they would pay for another week". Then, I have State Farm look up this and they said the rate I was being charged was double what I been told up front. I would have taken the car back WAY before then if that was the case.Better off using Turo unless your rental is paid for by someone else. Or go to the other locations.

Walked in and was initially told that if I didn’t have a Reservation, they couldn’t assist me. So I made a Reservation Online and waited. Once I advised them that I indeed made, I was then rudely told that they didn’t have any cars. Went back to my vehicle and saw that same rude individual rushing to clean a vehicle out. Basically, they’re understaffed, not trained properly, and need more vehicles. The list goes on and in about this location. Thank You (Enterprise, Ridgeland, MS) location for the save today!

Attempted to pick up a rental car with a RESERVATION. Was by associates they didn’t have cars that were in rate class of that my fleet company had reserved but had other cars that cost more. All while I overheard associates tell two customers that came in after me “you’re getting a free upgrade”. Guess this is done by selective discretion. Also told not to bother trying their other locations as they didn’t have cars either. Called back later that afternoon and manager was supposed to return following morning to confirm a car available, never called. Three days after reservation and I still don’t have a car

The service was fast and efficient and the vehicle was clean, fueled up and ready when I arrived. However, ten days later, I still do not have my $50 deposit back.

THIS IS THE WORSE CAR RENTAL PLACE !!! WHEN I FIRST CAME THE MANAGER STOLE MY DEPOSIT MY CREDIT CARD NEVER RECEIVED AND I WAS DOUBLE CHARGED MONTHS AGO, AND NOW DURING THE HOLIDAYS AN ASSOCIATE KAREN WITHOUT ANY MANAGEMENT (IDK HOW THAT WORKS ) TURNED MY FAMILY DUE TO A FAMILY ... LET ME SAY IT AGAIN FAMILY CORP ACCOUNT I CALLED CORP ... THEY WERE CONFUSED , I CALL ENTERPRISE AND THEY EVEN CONFIRMED I COULD USE MY CORP CODE AND ALSO WERE WILLING TO SEND CONFIRMATION THAT MY IMMEDIATE FAMILY COULD PICK UP, BUT THE MANAGER, NO TYPE OF MANAGEMENT RATHER WASN'T THERE SO NOW MY FAMILY WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT DAY TO GET A VEHICLE DUE TO MANAGEMENT NOT BEING AVAILABLE, IGNORANCE WITHIN THE EMPLOYEES, AND OBVIOUSLY NOT KNOWING COMPANY POLICY . IF I HAVE TO RENT 100 MILES PAST THIS PLACE GUARANTEED I WOULD !! AND I AM ...PLEASE DO NOT ...DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION IT WILL SAVE YOU TIME AND A HEADACHE FROM THIS UNPROFESSIONAL, EMBEZZLING , AND UNEDUCATED BRANCH FOR SURE !!

My first time using this location. Vehicle was not ready when I got there even though I had a reservation and called 2.5 hours ahead of time to confirm my arrival time.. Had to wait 20+ minutes for them to clean the car. Not a good first impression.

I have rented numerous times from Enterprise and today was my last time ever renting from Madison. I made a reservation over a week ago only for them to call me 30 minutes prior to my arrival to tell me they had no cars. I was already at the body shop dropping off my daughters car and she said "well she's welcome to come sit and wait for a car to come in." HELLO I thought that's what a reservation was, a guarantee rental. Terrible customer service and I will never be back there.

The sorriest rental location I ever dealt with!!!!!! The managers have horrible attitudes and now I see why they have so many bad reviews! From the Ridgeland to Jackson locations no problems but this Madison needs to get rid of management. If you can please go to another location, it would definitely save you the headache.

Over a month ago we made a reservation for a full-size car with Enterprise (best reviews) as my wife and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We were planning our trip to drive down to Savannah Georgia for three days and then continue on to Charleston South Carolina. We went to the local Enterprise in Madison, Mississippi to pick up the full size rental car. The gentleman did explain to me that there was going to be a $500 drop off fee as we would be leaving the car in Charleston, South Carolina. I said wow! I wasn't aware of that. He insisted that that was normal, and that there was no wiggle room. Fortunately, I was able to pull up the contract and it was a $200 drop off fee. He said he was willing to honor that and made it sound like he was doing us a favor. We had to wait for 20 minutes for the car to be cleaned and detailed. I would've thought that the car would have been ready upon our arrival. Oh well... When I hopped into the car, it reeked of cigarette smoke, and I explained to the gentleman that this was not acceptable. The thought of having to smell cigarette smoke throughout our journey was something I was not willing to accept. He said no problem we can go ahead and spray disinfectant to minimize the smell. The thought of breathing whatever they were going to use was less appealing than the cigarette smoke itself. I said if you can just give us another full-size car we can be on our way and he said they didn't have one and that we would have to downgrade to a midsize car. I asked if he would be willing to give us an upgrade and he said that that was not available. The cars that they had available were 2 to 3 grades above the full-size car and that it was going to cost us a substantial amount more money. Thanks but no thanks. The price was dropped from $101 a day to $98 a day. Wow! A three dollar savings per day? Really? Hopped into the downgraded midsize car with 3/4 of a tank of gas and a big hole in the floorboard on the driver's side and dirty windows. What a great start to our journey! I have called customer service and we are waiting to hear back. By no means are we expecting the moon but they need to make it right. At this moment in time we will never use Enterprise rental car again. We will take our chances with another car rental company. It never feels good to give a scathing review, but given the circumstances, it was well deserved. Tyler C
