you’re lucky if you get your prescriptions the same day, on average is at least a 5 hour wait, usually more

They're worse than CVS. If you need to speak to a pharmacist you have to get in your car and drive to the store because they won't answer the phone!!! 🤬
I'm a caregiver and I recommend that my patients use any drugstore except Walgreens, for my benefit.
Avoid the stress and go anywhere else!

Terribly understaffed, undertrained, and ineffective. The customer lines are intolerably long. I have been a customer since they opened in Madison, but I have started moving my prescriptions.

What had happened to the management of this place? Customer service at this location is woefully poor. The Inefficiency of the staff beyond inadequate and seems to be getting worse.

They are very slow, and didn't have my prescription when promised. I know working a pharmacy isn't easy, but this was pretty bad. If I have a choice, I won't be back at this location.

I'm not sure what is going on with Walgreen. The service is awful. It takes 30 minutes to an hour at the window.

Upon Picking My Prescriptions Up , as Well as My husband’s Prescriptions , I encountered an Angry, rude and Unprofessional Pharmacist, named “Ashley “ who Works at the Walgreens Pharmacy on Hwy 51 located in Madison MS.
After Being told to come back after lunch because My prescriptions weren’t ready yet , I stated fine . I was told they would be ready then, by an associate. I came back “1and 1/2 hrs” later and My husband’s medication order was still Incomplete!!
The Pharmacist wanted Me to drive around and get behind the other cars in the carpool line “a second time” and it should be ready then. After speaking with her and explaining this to be Unfair and Very inconvenient to do this, She threatened to Call the Cops if I didn’t drive back around and get behind the other cars. Totally unprofessional and extremely rude to Me in front of the other associates !! I have never been treated with such Disrespect!! Totally inappropriate.

Truly terrible service. I’ve been going there for years and all of a sudden it’s awful. Must have had a change in employees because the lines are long and folks don’t seem to understand what they are doing. Time for a new pharmacy.

Okay okay let's think about this. First off this is a pharmacy and being closed at any time is not really right. However being open on Sunday for at least several hours is better than being closed. But when they close for a break for a couple of hours in the middle of the day that's not so good... Then while waiting in the drive-through line you see an Orange cone in front of you, you think oh they'll come out and pick up that cone when their break is over right? Well that didn't happen... so we called Walgreens pharmacy and asked them when they would be picking up the cone so we could use the drive through. The person tells us the drive through is "broken" and that's what the orange cone means. And the guy acted like I was supposed to know that. Looks like chick-fil-a, mcdonald's, and wendy's are not the only businesses spiraling dowwards in Madison, MS. Sad.

Called in to have a script filled at this Walgreen’s location from the Walgreens in Byram. I was told they’d have it ready in 45 minutes so I get in the car and head to the pharmacy which is about 40 minutes from my house. Made it to the pharmacy and waited in line for about 20 minutes which is fine. However, I get to the window and the guy says, “oh, it’s ready at another Walgreens pharmacy. We’ll have to pull it here if you want to fill it here.” I’m pretty sure I want it filled here which is likely the reason I called before I came sir. Anyways, I parked in the parking lot and waited the additional time to have it prepared. I, again, pull around to the window and all of them just stare at me for about 5 minutes before coming to the window. I rolled up my window because it was weird and it was clear I wasn’t going to be serviced for a minute sssoooo…yea. I did finally get my meds though, and I’m grateful for that, but I’ll never use this pharmacy again. I also feel kinda bad for Walgreens too because clearly they’re scrapping the bottom of the barrel if these were their best job applicants.
