HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE branch (McComb, MS Branch)!!!! My dad went to do business with them on June 1st. Got the paperwork with the correct amount that was taken and given to them on JUNE 1st. The money was counted several times, and it was the correct amount THEN (hence, it was documented on the paperwork that was signed and provided).On JUNE 2nd (almost 24 hours later), he receives a phone call from the clerk who did the transaction and the bank’s president that the amount was $1,000 short, so therefore they were going to credit his account for the amount BUT $1,000 shorter than what was originally given to them. No questions asked to him, no trying to investigate what happened, no explanation given! Only told what they were going to do.Once going into the McComb branch to talk to the bank’s president, she informed us that they weren’t accusing my dad, however people make mistakes. She also told us that the clerk who was worked with on June 1st to do the transaction, was so close to retirement. I guess that makes her/their wrongdoing ok. We were told that my dad was there to walk with the clerk to take the deposit to the teller. After being able to review the videotape, he was seen walking to the teller BUT it was to get their company’s rates. That part was handled. When the videotape got to the part with the teller counting the money, somehow the video froze. We were told they were done with the situation and for us to have a good day by the bank’s president and another employee. Both were very rude!They did provide the full amount back, however, it’s how the situation was handled. Do better Bank Plus (McComb)!!!
