The Pecan House is a must stop in South Mississippi. It is a great little gift shop and homemade candy store. This is a must for visitors, offering roasted pecans and pecan treats of any type. They have pralines, cheese straws, jellies, and other Mississippi foods, including sugar-free candy. The fudge is great and the pecan pie is absolutely phenomenal, described as the best ever with perfect, non-gelatinous filling. The shop also features a wide variety of wonderful gift ware, knick knacks, and Christmas ornaments. It is a true gem and a great surprise for finding treats and gifts.
This is a must stop if you come through during the day! It’s all good! Ends up taking me more than 10 minutes deciding what I want because I want some of all of it! They’ve given me a few samples but of course I don’t want to take advantage of their generosity or fill myself on sweets!

I had been wanting to stop here on my bi-monthly trip to the coast and finally did. The fudge I got was great but the Pecan Pie was Absolutely Phenomenal. Best one I've ever eaten in 60 years. I'll be stopping again in February
