For about a month, I worked with a sales rep at John O'Neil Johnson Hyundai in Meridian, MS on the purchase of a new 2023 Tucson hybrid limited. They were the only dealership that was getting the exact vehicle I was looking for. When the vehicle arrived at the dealership, I scheduled an appointment to purchase and pick it up. As I live out of state, it's about a 4 hour drive to Meridian.I confirmed the appointment Friday for a Saturday pick up and that I had the right form of payment and was assured the vehicle would be ready. I reconfirmed Saturday morning that everything was all set. I was told yes. I also got 2 email confirmations about the appointment Saturday morning, one email Friday and the other Saturday morning at 9:25 am.Approximately 150 miles into the drive, at 10:00 am and an hour before my appointment time I received a call that John O'Neil Johnson Hyundai had traded the vehicle to another dealership.I realize I didn't pay a deposit but I was never asked to pay a deposit to secure the vehicle that I had agreed to purchase. My wife and I drove 300 miles and wasted over 5 hours of a Saturday on a broken promise of purchasing a vehicle.Fortunately, Team one Hyundai in Gadsden, AL was getting the same vehicle in and I purchased from them 2 days later. Highly recommend Team 1, by the way.In any case, beware of very unprofessional and unethical business practices with this dealership. They didn't even reimburse the fuel cost for the wasted trip.

I've been to the dealership, but I was at the auto body shop with my brother's vehicle. It took an entire month and he still had to return the vehicle because the door lock mechanism dislodged. Not my first choice. He had to pay me for transportation. SMH!

Had a great experience under less than ideal conditions on our part. Buying a car in todays market and supply chain is hard enough and we were in 2 different states, but we made it happen and happen fast. Mark Newell was great to deal with, straight shooter and went the extra mile for us.

Top notch outfit. These guys really treat you well. They explained everything out, showed us all of our options and helped pick out the right fit for us.Mark Newell handled us for our internet sales and took care of every single detail for us and delivered our car to us fully fueled and spotless. Adrian set everything up with me on the computer side so that I was completly set up and ready to go. Thier customer service is spot on. I would highly recommend this dealership to all of my friends and family. This was one of if not the best car sales experience I've ever had. I had my car checked out and I got an oil change. They were fantastic!
