“Not sure why the guy before me had such a bad experience, but I think it has been wonderful! My daughter is attending there and has not had any complaints! Yes, it is a small town, but there are things to do there. And they do have an active Greek life, as far as I have seen. They do not own their own homes, but they are legit and have "fun". Compared to Ole Miss or Mississippi State it is much smaller, but so are the class sizes and also your bill. They have a WONDERFUL music education program, and other great programs as far as I have heard from former students and staff. Honestly, we wrote this school off at first while choosing colleges due to its small size, but when we went to visit, we fell in love with the campus, the people, and how personal and welcoming everyone is! The smaller class sizes assure a more personal educational experience which translates into a better learning opportunity. I don't think you would regret attending Delta, nothing lacking here but the big bill and lack of attention from over swamped teachers and staff on a campus where instead of being treated as "one in a million" you are only treated like one of a million.”
