I had my CDL for 8 months before recently starting at Jordan Carriers. My first driving job I pulled a reefer and had a lot of issues with the company. I did tons of research prior to even applying to Jordan and in the 2 weeks proceeding I watched a lot of youtube videos from the prospective of “hard working drivers” from Jordan. I feel the need to add that comment in quotations because if you are not a hard worker and serious about your career, then Jordan is not the place for you. I’ve had a great experience at Jordan since I started. My recruiter (Brittany) was super friendly and helpful, the office personal I have dealt with so far, the instructors (Jake, Raymond, and Marvin), and I was paired with an experienced friendly trainer (Harry). The terminal is very nice, always clean, and always a fresh pot of coffee brewing. They also provide you with equipment no older than 3 years. The head instructor Jake is extremely passionate about his job and it shows very much during the week of orientation. Not only does he implement a driver safety policy heavily, the orientation is very engaging. It’s not your typical boring learning experience. I enjoyed the week of orientation. I’m very excited to see how my CDL career will advance with Jordan.

The safest training and operational DOT compliance programs I've seen. Do it right, stay safe with loads and the public. Pay seems very reasonable for lease purchase. The right place for those looking to do right and enjoy life! Not for anyone that cuts any corners.

Jordan driver scraped the side of my truck, their insurance was very polite & understanding, got things taken care of promptly. Excellent company! Highly recommend. Jeanette is the absolute best to work with. Recommend her any day of the week. It's rare to work with such a good company.

Nearly every Jordan driver I see on the roads are reckless and impatient, rude, inconsiderate. We were backing into a spot at love's and he couldn't wait 5 more seconds for us to finish backing up and he sped around us. A load is not worth risking your life. (Truck 7889)

One of your driver on I 20 east cracked my windshield. He was swerving in and out of traffic and was all over the road. He could not stay in the lane. Slinging rocks all over everytime he would run off the side of the road. Now im gonna have to buy a new windshield.

The driver of unit #1880 is a very irresponsible driver, he was just driving really fast coming into a pilot gas station and almost caused a huge accident. The results of driving so recklessly cost him to damage the truck, but thankfully he only hit the cement and not another truck. Drivers like that is why there are so many accidents. He could’ve really hurt someone.

Their drivers have no problem taking their 30 at the fuel pump to eat lunch. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate, especially with trucks waiting in line to fuel and him having room to pull forward and multiple parking spots available.

It's a great place honestly they train you really well!! Great people if you call a recruiter talk to Tessa Wilson she's really awesome she will go above and beyond to help you with all your needs or questions and will answer within a decent amount of time!! Top notch! Also the trainers and all staff I've talked to so far are really amazing nice people who genuinely care!! The driver lounge is very clean and nice and so are the bathrooms!!!

'Training'(and only the most basic and rudimentary)company only, no place for experienced drivers. Trash rates, overbearing, out of touch management hiding behind locked doors and will find every 'legal' trick to not pay for the work they get get out of drivers. Avoid at all costs, try TMC, P&S, Maverick, Melton, Mercer, Tennessee Steel Haulers, C&W, anywhere else but here. Massive turnover but they get kickbacks from the state for 'training' so that's their goal. They'll put you up in a crack den hotel and feed you dried out gas station food and have the greed and audacity to charge you for it if you don't stick around for their starvation rates.

Very professional of your driver in truck 7224 that was at the Pilot in Niota TN to throw trash and his plastic cup out of his driver side window that was full of urine and is now splashed on the side of my truck. It’s bad enough your driver didn’t even get out of his truck to do a pre trip or check his securements but to do something as ignorant as this is uncalled for. Maybe your drivers do not take pride in their equipment or the company they work for but I do.

Jordan carriers, hmm where to begin.... First let me say, this is in no way directed to the hard working drivers, trainers, dispatch, and people within Jordan carriers that do their jobs to their fullest abilities and take pride in the work they do contributing to the trucking industry from their positions. That being said I emphatically advise any and all experienced flatbed or experienced drivers in brother industries to steer far and clear away from Jordan carriers. That is if you are a respected and respecting member of trucking society. People/problem solving abilities at this company..... rare. Not only do the front office ie: compliance office not know how to communicate their needs and values, but will make attempts at doing so in the most undermining and degrading way, im sure spawns from a very low world education, as they can muster. Company lacks basic abilities to coach or advise drivers in other ways than degrading them. Force dispatch. Not the fault or intention of the unknowing dispatchers they have hired to make contact with their drivers- they are only doing as directed (attitude reflects leadership). However dispatchers lack the adequate ability to meet both company and driver needs in giving situations regarding "home time" vs predetermined contracted load demands. Meaning, between the driver being in a location on a Friday and could take a load bringing them closer to their homes vs a load Jordan will make more money going in a different and often opposite direction, they will choose the later. Placing the driver in positions bringing them home late Saturday night or often not at all. Probationary period awaits all new drivers, regardless if your experienced or not. Doesn't sound all that bad until you realize that this means they will quickly let you go or find ways to try to punish the driver should you do something that doesn't please them for the first 90 days of service. Me personally, I did not have this problem, but met many drivers I kept in contact with from orientation and still talk to today that explained their situations to me for being released by Jordan. Probation period includes a non rider policy, pet or human, zero late deliveries for whatever reason, zero sick or emergency home situations, zero 11 or 14 hour violations (understandable in some ways), and photographs of all securements of loads( also understandable). Violating any of these during your Probation period will either subject a driver regardless of the situation to disrespectful phone conversations and or leading to terminations which will be followed by a charge back of the cost of your rental car that brought you to Jordan and the 2 star hotel they keep you in while in orientation, also the food cost that they paid for feeding you while you stayed at orientation for the 7 strait days you where there. A grand total equaling no less than $772 dollar out of your last settlement before you were let go. Again, this was not my circumstance, but I have the receipts left to me by other drivers I stayed close to after our "Jordan experience". Pay, you will work very hard for your $1600-$1900 checks (company side) or your $1800-$3500 checks (lease purchase side)* if you are one of the lucky 1s to get the lease purchase program which they hold on to as some sort of twisted privilege from drivers who have experience and forgotten more flatbed knowledge than the compliance and front office even knows themselves. However in reflection of having been at other companies this pay is NOT very impressive considering the amount of attention and work you will do to earn such amounts. A lil secret, you can earn that PLUS much more elsewhere in the same positions.

I enjoyed being there for the week of orientation.Jake & Marcus were very knowledgeable on all materials they covered .Even though I have prior experience in flat bed, they brought fourth an abundance of new techniques which made a lot of sense.I was well tooken care of the whole time.
