The people that work at this store are rude and treat you any kind of way... ask for a manager and you get some young kid that is a team lead...regional needs to clean this store up and get some ppl that ain't from the ghetto

Friday night March 14,2025. We went to do so badly needed shopping for our family
We live closer to the Philadelphia store. But since 2020 we have ahad much better experience at the Newton store. But Friday night was a disaster. Everything went fine until we got to the checkout.No registers open. Only self check. This was at about 7:30 PM. If we had not had some essentials; we would have left without the things we had in our carts. Waited in line for 10-15 minutes to get an open spot. Proceeded to checkout and it was a nightmare. Two old people trying to check and bag on unfamiliar equipment was a nightmare. Thirty or 40 minutes we finally finished and paid for over $400-00 in merchandise
Just to let you know we will never be back in this store
I last two weeks we have shopped in a WalMart store in Phila, MS. West Point Ms, Columbus Ms and Meridian, MS. We preferred the Newton store. Not anymore
Three associates standing in exit aisle and doing nothing. And again I say. Not one register open.
I’m 75 years old and I was exhausted when I got to my auto
Walmart Newton I will not be back in your store again.
The money you saved Friday night, is it gonna be worth it
I saw one of my older friends that hag no idea how to do self checkout. And no offer to help.

Spend money there then you get to be treated like a thief just to leave the store. I mean it's not like you own everything once you pay for it right? I am getting really close to never shopping at Walmart again. Not like I can't buy most things off Amazon cheaper anyways right?
