The Hemingway is a fun, well-situated, and very clean property right on the main thoroughfare of Ocean Springs, offering a beautiful and historic stay. The rooms and suites are beautiful, very clean, spacious, and very well appointed with comfortable elegance, appointed for vacation comfort or business needs. The location in relation to downtown couldn’t be much better, offering super convenient walkability to anywhere you need to go. Guests walk outside and are there amidst lovely oak trees and quaint local shops, with shopping and dining beginning just steps away. The town provides a quaintness and a big, free Christmas light show during the holidays, adding to the charm. Some guests note minor issues, such as a preference for a regular coffee maker over the French press, occasional room confusion regarding bed arrangements, a leaking shower, or a television requiring manual internet connection. The building is directly across from train tracks, which some find nostalgic and part of the charm, and it is not bothersome, with a wind machine and earplugs available for guests. Every staff member is very friendly and extremely helpful. Overall, visitors love their visits, find it a perfect place for a weekend getaway, and definitively plan return visits to soak up more of the local artist's colony town. It is an elevated experience that beckons the visitor to return.
