“I've never been one to love working out. I was not raised with that mentality. However, as I've gotten older, I realize it's importance and push myself to be better. Over the years, I have tried different gyms, both here and Dallas. I've tried big box Gyms and very boutique gyms. The last two years I have been working out consistently at Jane's gym and love it! The first reason I love this gym is that it is exclusively women. I never have to worry, and I am less self-conscious. The second reason I love this gym are the women themselves. Never have I felt so welcome, so encouraged, and actually have made friendships within the gym. Women range in all ages and sizes of all ethnicities and backgrounds. There is no judgment and only affirmations. For those that say that being sore, the next day is a negative, I would argue that they are not in it for the right reasons. Starting to work out journey is hard, getting good results is hard, being sore is validation that you are doing something right. The third reason I love this gym is the vast realm of opportunities that they provide. A 24 hour gym, a wide array of classes, specialized classes, such as aerial yoga, Hydro bed, tanning, a sauna, and special events that are scattered throughout the year. The final reason I love this gym is the price. When I first visited, I was concerned that it would be another boutique gym with exorbitant monthly rates. It's not! It's actually something I can afford. :-) Jane's gym has become my home and a space where I actually enjoy working out. I highly recommend!”
